Thumbs up GB: EASYCAR ALARM - MUST SEE ALARM! Introduction pricing!

Hi guys,

I first came on the forum to introduce high quality Kaixen HID kits. And after over 100 completely satisfied customers from this forum alone, we are finally ready to introduce a new line of high-end alarms suited for quality-loving Subaru fans.

We've been testing and tweaking fine details of this alarm since May of this year. Prior to this, Easycar alarms has been "tried tested and true" for 2 years in the highly competitive European market.

A little history:

EASYCAR ALARMS was founded by one of the head engineers at Compustar's parent company, YS Electronics. Since then, he has created EASYCAR alarms which SURPASSES the quality of any alarm in the market - including COMPUSTAR.

The range is longer (5000meters compared to 3000meters), more functions are added, harsh weather testing resulted in withstanding more humidity and cold temperatures, etc.

Installation time is also cut by 30% due to the result of better wiring schemetics which requires LESS wires to install than other high-end alarms.


Special functions:


We are only selling the "top of the line" fully loaded models: E502, and E402.
We feel that for those customers who are looking for these high-end alarms, its best to go with the fully loaded models.

These fully loaded models all come with a unique EASYCAR ALARM exclusive feature:

"EASY DOOR UNLOCK / LOCK".

WHen in the case of locking yourself out of your car (happens off too often!), than instaed of calling the tow truck who charges you $60 plus making few holes here and there, you can simply knock on your window knock patch with your unique 4 digit password.

Once the password is inputed, the car will chirp twice and open the door for you.


"AUTO DOOR unlock / lock".

This feature is only available in the E502 model with the microwave sensor.
The alarm will sense that you are approaching the car (you must have the sensor on the dashboard area with line of site with your remote).

Once you approach your car, it will automatically unlock the door for you.

ORGANIC LED remote!

This is the only alarm remote in the market with OLED (Organic LED).
Loads of features and easy to use. Not to mention how many comments you will get about the remote (or as some people think - "a mini cellphone").



FAQ:

Manual transmission clutch sensor is in the alarm. Remote start for manual cars is not a problem.

Factory alarm intact. Disarm / Arm.

2 knock - pager function is also included.

TURBO TIMER is included.

RESERVE engine power off is included.

Window module is available as an option.

Please keep in mind.

Many alarms availalbe on EBAY or other areas seem to look "cheaper", but the functions are all taken out. Overall, EASYCAR ALARMS are built better, but priced to be competitive and LOWER than other brands.

So, when doing price comparisions, please keep in mind that our alarms are fully loaded -including REMOTE starter.
For example, a Compustar alarm may cost $200 from somewhere, but with remote starter, price jumps to $349.


Also, you may find few "EASYCAR ALARMS" on ebay or elsewhere. We are one of the only AUTHORIZED resellers for these alarms. (can be verified with EASYCAR).

Those ones selling on EBAY are models that has NOT been made for North American markets. It will NOT work on your cars. Only some cars will be able to work, but its a risk and they will not offer returns or exhcnages (since they are selling non-north american versions).

Warranty is also NOT covered for products bought from unauthorized resellers.

I have seen some of these alarms selling for $250 or lower on ebay. Please keep in mind, these guys are liquidating the alarms at a loss, since these alarms can not be SOLD through forums / stores / or in person. They know that the alarms will not work with north american settings and therefore, have only the optoin of selling it off on ebay at low cost. Once you install the alarm and find out that it doesnt work, they will claim the alarm as "used" and will not provide refund.

that looks like a wicked alarm, one question though:

how thick is that remote? I already have a handful of keys to put in my pocket, the last thing I need is a huge remote in the mix.. I'm sure you can figure out why

ITs about 1.7 cm.
length is about 2 inches, or 5 cm.

We've tested on several cars already in the last few months. During this time, we had guys who did it in their garage in about 4 hours (while fooling around and eating as well. We also had to take out his old alarm which took some time. Also, all the wires were taped up, and had to be removed - which took another hour.

We also had few shops install these, and one shop technician did it in under 40 minutes.

INstallation is EASIER than most. However, it all depends on your car's situation. If your wires are all pre-labled (from previous installation), than you know which wires to wire and you're set.

But if you have to TRACE your wires or remove old alarm... old wiring... or have some other wiring (such as sound system wires) thats running all over the place, of course its going to take you longer.


Shops said they will charge 1 hour labour for installation of these alarms.

Thats around $60 to $120 depending on where you go.


It's not that hard to install, but if you have NEVER done this before, I wouldnt recommend it. It's not as easy as "plug and play HID kits".

I thought the Easy Door lock was pretty good idea. Now You said remote start for manual is included, but what about if you have Immobilizer? Is Bypass Module included? if not how much are they

We can sell the universal one for $50. You will need to cut one of your keys (spare key is ok too). and place it in the module.


There are other bypass units available on the market that you can use as well.

for cars with immobilizers, you always need the bypass module.

Why? What is the distinguishing factor that N/A has, that other markets dont?

Sounds good, might be interested. Now, does the window module allow all for windows to be open/closed via remote? Does the price just account for one window? How big is the window knock patch? (Great idea, just don't want a big blue circle in the way...)

Is there a possibility of a harness to plug into the OEM factory alarm socket?

Also, how hard is it to find wiring schematics for a 2004 USDM STi?

tons of things. clutch sensor not programmed properly - remote start wont work, automatic transmissino cars vs. manaul transmission cars, reserve, turbo timer..etc.. a lot of the features and functinos are different.
The rules and regulations are also different from different countries, so the brains are tweaked differently.

It's hard to explain all the technical details about it.
But to give you a better idea, you can take the non-north american version one to any store, and they wont take it.
professional installers will know right away.

oh, its not big at all. its the same size as the Compustar window knock patch.

I would say.. about 2.5 inches diameter.

oi.. theres currently no alarm systems (unless factory) thats just plug and play.

its not that manfuacturers dnot know, its just not economical feasible to custom make alarms for every car (make, model year).
