Well, it was a busy weekend for me.

Friday night I installed my old injectors, a new Grimmspeed EBCS and a new turboback exhaust system on an '04 STi.

Saturday I went up to Maxwell and picked up my cams, injectors, rails and lines. Then came back to the shop to do an engine swap on a 1998 Outback.

Sunday I got to install the TiC enthusiast rear bushings that I won from them here in the NWIC.

Today I ordered new pistons and approved the machine shop to go ahead with my new block.

Wow... I need a nap.

Embarrassed to say... Lol, came from the back room in O'reilleys. It's a lot nicer than I thought it would be.

Those places should have it. I used high temp wheel bearing grease.

Installed seat covers, so the dog doesn't kill the interior and put in an SPT heat shield for my new DP. On Sunday I put on a STI splitter, replaced yellow fog bulbs, and tightened the door lock bolts, since some were loose. Also, swapped over to my summer rims and tires, and finally put on the red lug nuts Jon Green gave me about a year ago. =)

Waxed that bitch over the weekend. Looks fresh now except for the multiple areas of paint that are effed up with no explanation behind it. Seriously Subaru, your paint is cheap.

No, you need grease. EVERY automotive store sells grease.

That will last for maybe an hour.

Here is a suitable product (Lucas Oil Red and Tacky):

Who are "most people"? and are you using rubber or urethane bushings?

It is petroleum based.

If these are poly bushings, you'll be fine with R&T.

If even then you're that paranoid about it, find some Permatex Ultra Brake Caliper synthetic lube or Do you have white Teflon tape? Wrap the bar in that... Any automotive store should carry those as well.
