I woulda been all set if the original appraiser did his ****ing job. He took pictures of all the damages, put them in the notes, then left out the structural damage out of the estimate. The adjuster in charge of my claim even saw the notes and said "wtf?"

Pretty much the same way you would paint any other car part except you start off with a clear coat base instead of a primer and finish it off with clear. But you have to spray it just right to get the coats even so the colors look consistent.

So from a distance the color is blended so well that it actually looks like a regular WRB hood only to reveal the true carbon up close?? Wow!!! I have wanted to do something like that for sooo long but never knew it was possible. I like carbon parts but don't have any because I feel the black clashes with the painted body panels. I'm going to see them in the next week or so and am going to ask if they can show me a sample. I'm sold. |

It is lowered might go a little bit lower in the front but we are building the car with a functional aspect to it. We all concur that the front end needs something to make it flow with the side aero. We also do like the front air dam/lip look it just needs a little more. What I’m thinking is building off the stock air dam but make it 3inches long and have it tapper off under the front end to nothing at the front wheels.
Oh yeah its painted cars getting some more of it coming up here not to soon. Its been way to long. |
