Gf will definetly get it, she made the switch from Android to iphone 4s already (hated the little issues with Android and didnt care for rooting to fix it).

I may look at it (along with Win 8 phones), just to give something else a try besides Android.

That was ridiculous. I had staff inquiring about iPad 3s. They were all kinds of confused when told it wasn't called the iPad 3, and was called "The new iPad".

C don't want iPhone 5....C don't want S3, C want new LG:

Optimus G

1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor (APQ8064)
The GPU inside (Adreno 320) should also be the best in the business.
13MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 2100mAH battery, NFC chip, and 4G LTE.

4.7***8243; True IPS HD display with G2 Touch Hybrid technology (320ppi). That essentially means that the LCD is thin enough, that the display appears to be as close as you can get to the front protective glass. Much like on the HTC One X, it should seem as if you are actually touching items on the display – that’s how close everything should be.

The bezel is only 3mm thick, but apparently can’t be seen when the display is off, making it “invisible.” The device itself is just over 8mm thick.

An injunction barring the sales of the iPhone 5 would be hilarious.

Meh, I love my iPhone 4. I've had it just over 2 years, and it never crashes or gives me problems. I've even jumped into a pool with it (in a life proof) case, and no worries. Plus it's super easy to use. I'm not like most of OT. I'm a simpleton, non techy guy (a mental midget, if you will). For us, it's perfect. It works well, and is super easy to use, with no issues. Sign me up for iPhone 5.

On a related note: if iPhone is so inferior, why do many car manufacturers have iPod/phone integration standard as opposed to Android? -serious question.

Now I'm off to ride my inferior (and obnoxiously loud) HD, and drink cheap Milwaukee made beer. Good day.

I know one thing, it has nothing to do with money.

1) greater user base
2) there is only one model of iPhone at any given time unlike 10's of different Android devices which makes accessories and other stuff not as viable to make.

Nowadays a lot of cars support USB mass storage and/or A2DP bluetooth connections for the masses.

Also, apple adaptors/power plugs change almost every new model. I still have the same cable from my first android phone from 5 years ago and still works on my S3.

iPhone cables have been the same until the 5 comes out.

I am pretty sure there have only been two main versions of the Apple plugs. Early gen ones that one work on all the old ipods and the early gen iPod touches, but dont charge newer devices (I want to say OG iPhone and beyond, but that could be wrong) and the newer ones that charge everything (old, new, ipads).

Most android phones have only used micro and miniUSB. Except for some Samsung tablets, and some other less popular devices.
