Are you really honestly surprised by that, especially given everything that's happened here in the past year?

I have summers (RE070s), all seasons (Eagle F1 A/S), and winters (Blizzak WS60), is that overkill?

The Eagle F1's are pretty good in all weather. I drove them quite a bit in the snow before I got Blizzaks and had no problems what so ever. The key to driving in snow is to not drive like an asshat. My RE92s did just fine in the first winter I had my car (LOTS of snow driving).

EDIT: whoa this thread exploded between the time I started my response and when I hit send....

No, its not oerkill. I run Toyo T1 r888s on 17x9 Rota DPTs for the track, toyo T1r on BBS RE 18x8 for the street and Dunlop wintersport 3d on Oz ultraleggera 17x8 for the winter.

On a completely related, I absolutely loved the Kumho Ecsta ASX tires I had on my RPF-1's. They were decent enough for dry performance, but worked fantastically for wet traction. I took them to the slopes and they were manageable through light (read: light) snow.
