Exclamation 2010 Legacy Unveiled

Just to inform our local memebers about this.

Quote:

Subaru has unveiled the all-new 2010 Legacy that will have its official unveiling at the New York Auto Show next week.
The all-new Legacy encompasses styling of the outgoing model combined with the concept that was shown in Detroit. The 2010 Legacy grows an inch longer, 3.5 inches wider and 3 inches taller to make it more competitive with other midsize sedans.
The 2010 Legacy has three engine choices: 170 hp, normally aspirated 2.5L 4-cyl; 265 hp, turbocharged 2.5L 4-cyl (up 22 hp); 256 hp, 3.6L 6-cyl. There are also three transmission options: a six-speed manual, five-speed automatic and a new CVT.

those wheels suck, and i dont like the flat part on the fenders.

other than that i think it is a sexy bitch, and i'm glad to see they bumped the hp a bit.

i wonder if it's heavier

Front is really nice, sides and back are completely unremarkable. A few small elements directly copied from other cars. All in all I would call it a failure of creative design.

I'm not sure if I like the look or not yet. I still seem to like the older subarus vs the new style geared to the consumers instead of the rally world.

Hey look, the 2010 Legacy!

Why does Subaru feel the need to re-invent the wheel?

The picture I have shown is the BASE MODEL.

The GT version should have better rims and an aero kit.

The back looks like a toyota avalon....

Looks pretty much like the photos I was shown months ago, except in the pics I saw there was a 6 speed shifter. This is clearly the base version, bring on the GT or STi versions now please

its really not a bad looking car

its just bland.....a little boring.....

but at the same time it isss the legacy and thats what it supposed to be.....my only beef is i wish it had something to set it apart visually....i mean it looks too much like a altima with a facelift on the front to me.....

oh well....at least its not horrid..like the 08+wrx sedans

LOLLLLLL

gt...front mount??? i wonder

the turbo is set down low in front of the crankshaft now.

this tranny there talking about that used to be in the justy sounds interesting.

i like the car but just cant get over the flat parts on the fender, that would be my first mod.

hyundai comparison .... nope, you lose

I agree the GT model will look better, but IMO the base model still sucks.

With a little more creativity it could've looked a lot better. IMO I like the look of my first-gen Legacy better.

I mean I like my car, but 17 years later I would've expected a better design!

You know what will make you feel better? Letting me go for that GTR test drive? Yeah? Awesome.
