I can think of a lot of worse things to call him than young man. Seems like a nice neighborhood.

but it says you're in Calgary. Calgary and edmonton are not the local to each other and if so does that make Red Deer town square?

I know we're all "Obey teh law" here at NASIOC, but I'm just going to tell you I run the stop sign in front of my neighborhood all the time. It serves absolutely ZERO purpose, particularly since I make a right every time into my neighborhood and I don't care. I am now, however, afraid that the old person buffer zone (the first two blocks of my neighborhood are retirement garden homes) will post a sign like this.

I don't care. I'm glad that person is running the stop sign if it is indeed a legitimate stop sign to run. I will continue running my stop sign. No, I am not a teenager. No, I'm not unemployed. No, I do not have a BOV. I can just recognize a pointless waste of time, effort, and energy on the road, and I refuse to have my resources consumed (gas) for something that provides a negligible safety concern. This is probably why I'm not allowed to fly anymore, because I feel the same way about the ****ing TSA.

there's a stop sign like that by house. i don't usually full stop, but usually a rolling stop. it's where 2 roads converge, and then right as you get onto the other road, it crosses another road where there is another stop sign. so it's like 2 stop signs in 50 feet. i'll admit it's a bit much.

so instead of a full stop, i for sure make sure to look down the other road and make sure to always yield. in fact there are hardly any cars that come from that way. maybe 1 in 20 times when i leave, if that. the road i'm coming from has far more traffic. maybe they should put the stop sign on the other road.

I understand what you are saying and agree with you; but this just sounded soo funny. I was laughing for a while. Like we could legally pick and choose which ones to run. lol.
