FS: Tanabe GF210 Lowering Springs (TGF107) 05-07 STI
Hi,
I have for sale a set of used Tanabe GF210 springs for an 05-07 STI. They have less than 10k miles on them. Part number TGF107. These will work on 04's but I'm not sure how the drop would be. If you search the forums I'm sure there's a few that have done it (since these springs are more aggressive than the 04 specific ones). Also for you non-sti guys like me, you can get some STI struts or aftermarket struts and use these with the proper rear top hats. Stock WRX struts will be horrible with spring rates this high so I wouldn't recommend. SOLD Spring rates are 5.8k/4.4k (325lb/245lb). Drop on a 05-07 STI is 1.0" / 0.5" Read more about them on tanabe's site: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/gf210.asp?id=3 I am located near Temecula and am also around Carlsbad a few days a week. I had these on my 02 wagon with STI struts. Thanks for looking! Ryan Here are a few pictures:

michael!!!!!
what did i tell you about springs and the uneven look they will provide!?!?!?!?!!? ::bangs head on wall:: the front fenders are cut higher than the rear, so even if the drop from the springs is the same front and rear, the front will always have a larger gap because of the higher cut fenders. cough, you should have gotten coilovers michael, cough! |

For performance reasons its better not to be lower in the front than the rear. But if you're just after the look than go for it.

I would suggest just taking a look. However your springs probably aren't the same as these as I see you have an 02. Also, as the other person said, it's normal to have more gap in the front than the rear when the car is level so I doubt they switched them up.

I'm not sure. I'm guessing no, but maybe there's a way with some modifications. Either way, you'd want to make sure you use better struts as these spring rates are too high for stock 02-07 WRX struts at least.
These are designed for 05-07 STIs. I have STI struts that I use on my 02 wagon. |
