ProECM vs Torque Chip 2
Anyone tried either of these products? What sort of gains are we talking? Which setup is better? (This would be on a 2.2L AT)

the torque chip is ok, but i mean once you have it on you notice a difference, but if you take it out after say 3 or 4 months, you notice it didnt really do THAT much...
 I dunno, I didnt like mine. -justin |

Andy one of my local friends also has a T2 for sale.... kinda why I decided to ask. From what I've read, the T2 seems to be better but I can't find a whole lot of comparos or reviews. Any differences on gas mileage? Thats one of the goals I have for improvement.

My gas milage seemed to have gone up when I had mine. My torque chip was awesome till I installed my flywheel...then for some reason it didnt want to work right. Thats why I got rid of mine...b/c it acted weird with the exedy flywheel.
Id recommend getting one if you dont have the lightweight flywheel. -justin |

Re: ProECM vs Torque Chip 2
Quote:
A 6hp and 8lbs-ft of torque loss. This was after having my chip on for 2yrs. And I thought it wasn't doing anything. I know my air/fuel ratio had something to do with it. Perhaps since my ECU was reset, you could say it ran rich because it was still learning. Problem is, my ECU is still running rich. Baahhh! |
