As far as the installation, definitely something you could do yourself within an hour. Save yourself the 60-100 bucks, watch the 5 min YouTube video and just do it. Crutchfield.com has everything you need for DIY install.

+1 to Crutchfield, I ordered an appradio and love/hate it. The features are awesome and does exactly what I want, run phone apps on a touchscreen radio. But, it's glitchy, kinda slow, and has a buncha warning screens. Would still recommend it and took me about 2 hours to install, comes with GPS antenna, microphone for Bluetooth, safety e-brake sensor wire, etc, etc but still pretty easy. Crutchfield gives you very clear instructions plus will answer any questions over the phone and walk ya through the install if you need it.

Time to post.

Here's my 2010 Impreza 2.5i premium.

So far:
Whiteline RSB 22mm
Kartboy Rear Endlinks
(Front Sway bars + Endlinks soon)
2013 WRX Wheels
(Kumho 4x tires coming on this week)
Debadged Trunk

Thinking of suspension mods next.
The GTWORX/Bilsteins + RCE are pretty appealing... but I don't have the money for it at the moment. The other option is to get wrx swapped suspensions.

What do you have installed on yours?

Also perhaps brake mods.

Looks 100x better than the stock hood in my opinion. There's so much surface area it needs something on there. Plus it was a straight trade, don't know if anyone would have passed up that opportunity.

Pioneer. Buy from Crutchfield or Sonicelectronix.com. Get your wiring harness from username SVXdc (David) and an Axxess online if you have steering wheel controls. Otherwise I'm sure either Crutchfield or Sonic will have one that's included.

Install is very easy. I recommend picking up a cheap ($20) soldering gun or borrowing one and doing it. If you don't have solder experience, just dink around with a few scrap wires for 10 minutes. Remember, test your connections BEFORE soldering. I just wrap all of mine with electrical tape. Kind of a hassle to wrap them all, plug it in to make sure it works, take it out and solder but it's a much stronger connection. You can also use butt connectors or crimps. I guess I just prefer soldering.

Tomorrow is the time to buy, Cyber Monday deals all over the place.

So you didn't do it just because other people wouldn't like it? I thought it was your car...

My OBW came with a hood scoop, factory, and it didn't have a turbo. If he likes how it looks on the car I don't see a problem.

Personally I like how it looks a lot, but I wouldn't swap hoods on my Impreza because I want to avoid my car being a cop magnet.

lol, I highly doubt a cop is going to care if you have a hood scoop or not.

The cops care if you are speeding or not.

I also passed up the scooped hood. Salty crap getting into the engine bay rusting everything. I could only justify a hood on an na if it was partly functional. Intake or oil/tranny cooler there.

Wiring harness to the headunit harness. You buy an aftermarket harness so you don't have to mess around with your OEM wiring. It's a female end harness. Cost $20 or so.

Thanks. They are these. I used double sided tape and the provided screws to mount them.
