May 3 is still best for me. I just got my shifter bushings, those shouldn't be too hard to install. Has anybody installed those before?

I'll be in Florida on May 10 visiting the Mom for Mom's Day. I like the idea of doing some installs on the 3rd and maybe having another meet soon when more people can make it.

The meet is planned for May 3 as of right now. We should be able to get your parts on if you can make it.

I'll keep checking to see where this meet ends up. Hey omni buying guy, wanna buy a '86 sub gl10 2or 4wd with turbo only about 60k original miles on engine. power windows, locks, moonroof, this car is in great shape, except for the tranny. it locked up the other day front wheels only?? if you put it in drive and give it gas you get a reading on the speedometer and can't put it park until "speed" goes back down. Is this worth fixing?
If so i can tow it to the meet>?? Did i mention digital dash and a foam rubber rear wing?

Matt,

The only thing you have that sounds difficult would be the springs. But since Eric has spring compressors, I suspect he will know how to install them. Good to have you coming - hopefully we can do a meet in Lexington sometime.

I'm not in the market to buy anymore cars I have 4 now and still no garage Well I have 1 car that is full of tools and a Harley
.
Let me understand the GL10's problem.Does it still drive or just sit there? It might be worth fixing but the return isn't that great.I was going to say it might be the visous thingy, but not sure. You can always fix it and Rallycross it (hint hint). You may be able to find the parts on this website http://server2.ezboard.com/bultimatesubarumessageboards

Maxx and Matt from Lexington, springs are no biggy but you have to hold the strut while I compress the spring.(that can be nerve racking). All that stuff should take about 2-3 hours and you may have to get it realined but if we take our time you won't have to.

So far it looks like 7-8 people can make the 3rd of May.While 4-5 can't.Does that sound right?By thursday it should be set in stone.

Everyone will get a PM on the or around April 28th.With directions and what is needed(food and drink)I live on the west side of Cincinnati off of I74.

By the way I have a friend that lives down in Nicholisville.I think that's the right spelling and another near Frankfort.

When you get here I'll tell you the dangers of spring compressors.

Yeah, that's pretty much how it works. Last meet somebody installed a electronic boost controller; I've wanted one ever since.

Werd Anyone want a really good digi cam? Selling my Coolpix 5700 extras and 3yr transferrable warranty (like you would need it with Nikon...) for a good price. Or perhaps you know someone who wants one. I am trying to get into a Digital SLR but I can't justify this and a 2k camera..So let me know. And most important another bump for the Cincy thread.

Yummy....Digital SLR....I just bought a digital camera or I'd be interested. Nikon's are great if anybody is in the market for a camera. Good luck selling.

A couple of us Dayton guys are thinking about making the voyage too. I don't have a lot of car technical knowledge to add, but I'd like to observe the spring install and whatever else gets installed. My car is still stock, so I have plenty of mods planned for the future. If I come down I can definitely bring some sort of food or beer.

It would be great to see some Dayton faces down here at our meets. I'm from Miamisburg originally, I'd love to make it to a Dayton meet if you guys have one.

This is becoming a decent regional meet

Yeah I just started working with a guy (he's a member on the boards, whittleman), who has a wagon. He said he might be up for making the trip. I haven't really met most of the guys around here because I didn't get a big response when I inquired about a Dayton meet. So, if we do end up coming down it will most likely be 2 or 3 of us cruising down in one car. I'll keep my eye on this thread, and try to give at least a couple days warning if we are coming and how many will be headed down.

Sweet! We've got a bunch of regulars that can't make it, so it's possible that we may end up with approx. the same attendance as the last meet.

Just as an aside, I really like the idea of meets when Speed is showing their rally recaps. As it stands now, I've got to wait for a friend to scrape them off his Tivo onto videotape...

Well I have about 1500 invested in it 1200 for the camera 200 for the warranty and 80 for another Nikon battery and ac adapter and then 50 for 128 Mb Lexar 4x flash. I am trying to sell all of it for 800. The replacement warranty is transferrable and only has 4 mos on it. The camera itself is cosmetically perfect. No scratches lens in perfect shape. This was my baby. The 35 mm equiv for the lens is 35-280mm which is not that common either. 5.1 MP The pictures it takes are awesome. Hit me up if you want to see some of them. Let me know.

Put me on the list for the 3rd. I just did my springs last night in about 3 hours so can offer some guidance there if needed. I have also done exhausts, uppipes, injectors, turbo, UTEC, intercoolers, lighting upgrades, gauges, swaybars so can help in other areas where needed.

I saw your post on the eibach thread in the vendor's forum. It sounds like you had a good experience with World One. Did you end up getting the camber bolts? Or is it too early to tell if you will need them? How's the ride? I want these springs bad, but don't know if I should add more to the credit card bill....$219 shipped though is an excellent deal. C'mon convince me to get em'

Everybody needs new toys. Heck, everybody is getting them - don't you deserve the same?

What's another credit card bill? Its not like its real money.

$219 is a GREAT deal. Shipped? Even better!

Do it! Do it! Do it!
