Default A/C bearing

So I am pretty sure my AC bearing is shot. Is it better to replace the whole AC compressor or just the bearing. I would like to just replace the bearing but I can find the part number for it or a DIY.

subaru ac compressors are not serviceable. if the noise is your compressor, you'll need to replace it as a unit.
