Hey guys I figured this might be a way to potentially help people in the future and utilize more of everyone resources. Plus I don't know any of the new people.

So what do you do for work or school? What's your major or profession. How did you end up where you are? What made you get a Subaru?

Ok, I will start to make it easy and Painless.

Me: I'm Nick.

Work: I work at a Piston Company that makes parts. I Sell stuff there and help people with design and any technical aspects of their engine development or design. If you ever need engine advice or confirmation don't hesitate to ask.

Before this I had a shop doing race cars and Subaru Perform for 2 years. Before that I worked at a company designing and doing resistance testing on medical connectors for pace makers. Prior to that I worked at a Fabrication shop doing chassis and custom suspension work.

School: I started College my Jr year in High School. Majored in Mech Eng, and Biz Admin. (Saddleback College / Long Beach State)

Subaru: In 2001 I saw a Yellow WRX beat a Mustang at the Street Races, and I was Sold. 1 Month Later I bought the car. I have been hooked ever since.

Previous Cars:

# 1 - 1989 Toyota Corolla - Stock
# 2 - 1990 Acura Integra - Pyr Cams - Bolts ons - All that crap
# 3 - 1988 Crx HF - ZC Swap - Nitrous - All the bolt on junk
# 4 - 1993 Civic CX - Old Drag Car Project -
# 5 - 1999 Toyota Tacoma - Bagged on some wheels
# 6 - 1994 Honda Accord - Stock
# 7 - 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX - Everything ( Still Have It )
# 8 - 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution - Cams and all the bolt ons - 100 shot of nitrous ( Still Have it )
# 9 - 1998 Honda Civic LX - Stock ( Still have it )
#10 - 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel Mega Cab - 4 Inch Exhaust, No Cats, Intake, Boost Fooler ( Still have it )

See that was easy.

Next..

Work:
Inside Sales Representative for United Rentals/Male giggolo/Sugar Moma catcher
Ended up here after being an Account Executive and company downsized and moved all Sales Operations to Jupiter, FL
School:
B.S. Business Management and Administration with a minor in International Business from Cal State LA
Subaru:
Was a Honda head for years got tired of N/A power. Decided to get Boosted. Friend of mine sold his bug-i for a Forester XT, rode in it, heard the boxer rumble fell in love. Was going to go for an 05 he told me to wait for 06 for the 2.5 engine. Best decision I made, hated the design of the pignose till I saw it in person.
Now going Euro style

I'm Jan. I am now a full time student in the automotive program at Chaffey College. Going for automoive, business, and health information degrees and certificates. I've worked fro both Injen Technology and Fujita Air doing shipping and receiving.

I dont have a job right now, but i need one! Help a brother out!

I had worked on a few Subarus at the old shops I used to work at, and didn't really think much about them. Then I saw a 2.5RS. Worked on it and liked it a lil bit more. Then I worked on a Sedona Red '02 sedan...REALLY got me thinking...then my sister's ex-fiance had bought a '02 2.5 TS wagon. I did some work on that, drove it, and I was sold. I now have an '02 WRX wagon

taking my sweet time in college, working towards my degree in mechanical engineering, 5 more years to go

i got a subaru because it's not "mainstream" and it doesn't ever get boring because you don't see them every 5 seconds on the road like you would see a honda/mazda/acura/whatevers......................thats what i'd like to say, but the truth is all i wanted was the turbo and the AWD at first.

Mo (aka:MO MONEY) LOL, don't ask///

Current News: Currently Im a Couch Potato.. Lookin for a job but cant find a decent one.. : (

Education: DID 1 year in 2001 after high school at El Camino Community College then joined the ARMY in 2002..but now im back I think ill go back in the spring if i don't find a job by then..

Profession: Served in the Army as a 91E-X2 which means Dental Hygienist.. I think people joined the military for dental care, cuz more then 90% of the soldiers had no prior dental care and there mouth was all jacked up, LOL,,,,,Anyway i was Mostly Stationed in good old Fort Sill, OK (By the way it is very boring there and they hate the soldiers in the city of Lawton, around it). when i got back in 06 i worked a lot of jobs, starteing with ,Car Stereo installation, Best buy cashier, Ralphs grocery bagger, Landscaping, Auto Mechanic, Logistics, Security Guard, Dental Assistant, Blockbuster Video (that was a fun job), Rite Aide Cashier, Deli Delivery guy, Line Cook, Waiter.... that's about it.

How did i end up here?: Well i think my parents told us we gotta move, and so we packed up our stuff and moved to Torrance... YAY!!!!

The Car: Well I was into drifting when i got back because my friend had a 240sx all fixed up with a SR20det JDM motor, Anyway it was fast and it was fun , So i bought one, Over the Years i hated that it cost so much to maintain always breaking down and overheating and it was too much attention from cops, over the years i got 8 tickets because of it, it was a very very Bright red S13 hatch back, so i sold it, When i got back from the Army a friend of mine had an EVO IX, the day he took me to Malibu and he drove all nuts hitting the turns fast as hell, and me being kinda scarred i didnt know that AWD was that good. I made a decision, im selling the 240sx, In Jan 2008 i finally sold the 240sx, After month of no car, i was growing restless, i wanted a EVO but it was a little too much money for me..Suddenly In February on a Sunday night at the Hookah Lounge In Redondo Beach my friend with the EVO walks in with a homie of his. The guy starts talking about he doesn't know what to do with his Subie anymore and that his Dad is bugging him to do something about it... So i asked what is a Subie? So He gives me a quick rundown on what a WRX is. Now im interested, apparently he had bought a 2002 WRX in 2004 while he was working at a place called Harman Motive.he blew the motor up in 2005 and got himself a V7 STi motor in with lots of goodies and all this RA tranny gear stuff, cusco coil overs, V7 Jdm interior, custom painted ... etc etc, , anyway, in summer of 2006 he thinks he blew the tranny, and since he didnt work for Harman anymore he couldn't afford to fix the car, so it sat on is front lawn for over 1yr and a 1/2 . Now hes like its gunna cost him 2k to fix and he just has grown out of the whole Subaru thing plus his parents want him to settle down. So now he wants to sell it, immediately i asked how much and he says 8,000 and hell pay half the cost of fixing the transmission, and i spring to life! "I want it Tomorrow!!!" , i said. The next day i went to his house and it just blew my mind on the way it looked. Beautiful car and very Clean. In total the car only had 60,000 Miles on it and the JDM motor had only 20K when he put it in. With in 1 week i wrote him a check and i took the car straight to Harman, It turned out that the Cusco Tarmac Center Diff he put in had literally shattered to pieces, so i sent the Tranny to Suby Specialties they got me a whole new nice center diff, i preferred the Kaaz, they cleaned up the tranny, checked alll the gears, and the best this is..it only cost 1000 bux, thanx to Dan at Harman For hooking it up as long as i did the Tune up and Dyno and Tune there. so i did , all new fluids including the diffs fluid, new brakes, new spark plugs, the works, and they drained the old gas from the tank that had sat in the car for 1 yr and a 1/2 .. LOL, Dan said it wouldn't have beeen smart to start the car up again on that old fuel. New filters, Dyno and tuned .. all that for 1200 bux, so far ive spent 2200 bux to bring it back to life, so that was just on the edge of my budget cuz i only had 10,000 to work with TOTAL... Now i enjoy this car soo much, 4,000 miles later and no problems, thank god, except for cracking two Rota rims that where on the car, damn these rims suck,, but i like them so much i still ordered replacements which im still waiting for from the Philippines...... Damn Sorry i wrote a story but i just had to tell it how it happened, Now i out handle my homies EVO and put his car in the dust, Now that i have this 300whp beast he wants to get a GT35r which he is planning on getting soon!!! Always someone trying to out do you...

Me: Yukio (duh) I'm famous, you just don't know it yet.

Career:
I used to work for numerous automotive aftermarket companies and organizations. I'm an industry whore. I worked for Import Showoff, Drift Showoff, Livesockets Entertainment, JIC Magic USA, and Skunk2 Racing. I was also the Drift Team manager and Time Attack team manager for Hankook Tires / JIC Magic for 3 years.

That's me crewing during a pit stop @ Laguna Seca last year. I'm the one with the camo shoes

I have left Skunk2 Racing to start my own company called Fizix Media Labs.

School:Went to Moorpark College for 3 years and then to Long Beach City College as a film major. Cut school short due to my daughter's birth.

Cars: Been around for a long ass time. Since the mid 90's with imports. I still my have issues of Super Street and Turbo when it was all black and white. I wanted a Honda Accord with a turbo H22, but my parent's found out what I was going to do and ended up buying me a Camry. I did this to it instead:

It had a Vortec Supercharger, D2 coilovers, a Custom Bomex Body kit, Rotora Big brakes, and Volk racing Wheels... then I gave up on it since it was a camry.

Got the Subie wagon that everyone knows cuz it's a whore. I got a subaru wagon because it was unique, I didn't have to deal with putting on an aftermarket turbo kit, and I wanted to do more track than shows since the show scene was getting whack.

Me: phillip, junior. or, according to my wife and daughter, igor

Career: finishing up a master's program in communicative disorders as CSUF and applying to Ph.D. programs in oregon and seattle. gonna do my best to work for the VA so the government will pay back all my school debt. anyone stutter or have aphasia? if so, i am your man

Car: 2002 PSM sedan. have been into subies since i was 16 (1994) and finally got one for my bday in march. i love it, but i will more than likely never buy used again. it is tons of fun and my 2year old daughter has learned to say "back off evo" whenever she sees one. prior to this i have had tings ranging from a 634corvette, 64 rambler 440, full size GMC and ford trucks, a tercel, a corolla, a rapist van, a focus wagon, and like 14 other cars. i was also pretty deep into vintage italian motorscooters and cafe bikes. i would import and restore them. now i have a vespa for the wife and a sick 'n dirty ironhead in the garage. anyone want to buy them?

peace. oh, go and fill out your SSN and schedule in my post
