Fully assembled longblocks are only about 300 pounds or so, shortblocks can be carried by one person. You could stick a couple of them in your back seat and not have any problems. I have friends that weigh more than a subaru shortblock.

It's so much better. You don't have to immediately shift from 1-2 like in the USDM gearset which keeps you in the powerband longer. It's wicked fun.
