1) turn off caps lock, before you annoy anyone

2) wait for someone who knows something to answer your question (ie not me)

Default af install

My Autometer came with some decent instructions but you can go to to http://www.northursalia.com/m...ng/wrxpin.html
and find out how to tap into the rear O2 sensor i believe it is pin B17, the rear 02 sensor.
that is what mine was or how mine is hooked up.

Hope that helps.

You might want to check out the Autometer website http://www.autometer.com/hp/index.html under 2001 Catalog-> Tech Tips. There is an article about the Autometer A/F ratio gauge with respect to O2 sensors that have 0-5 VDC ranges (such as the 02+ WRX) There might be an issue installing this gauge on the 02+ WRX and using the stock sensor. There solution is to put another O2 sensor (available from them) that will work with the gauge.

FYI, you can probably call/email them to get a set of instructions for installing your gauge.

Unhappy Autometer wont work

I tried to install the autometer guage in my 02 wrx and it didnt work! I asked some people at my local car audio shop. They told me that the auto meter was a shortband gauge and I needed to get a wide band gauge to make it work. I cant find a wide band gauge. I hope that helps. If you know where I can get a wide band gauge let me know!

Which autometer gauge did you get? I've seen more than one '02 WRX with an Autometer A/F gauge that was working just fine.

Did you check the ravensblade pinout to make sure you tapped the correct wire?

I bought an Air Fuel guage, I had to hook it up to my rear 02 sensor. It give me whole lot of nonsense when I'm driving at normal paces. But when at WOT, it goes up and down with the action of my shifting. So, at least it does something that has something to do with anything. But uhh, really its just a light show for the girls. Rice.
