Also bought from there, with no problems. That said, I can get inventory pricing through my employer, so there wasn't really any haggling to be done....

I've never had a problem. I'm not too fond of the most recent tech I dealt with, after getting a new long block. I went in saying it didn't feel the same at first, he took a test drive, saying repeatedly that it doesn't feel right to him either, then an hour later says that's how it's supposed to be. The accessory girl is hot though

Well my wife went there to buy an impreza, in like 2005. I had on 02 WRX, and she was interested in the 2.5. She made a comment to the dealer that she didnt want the sport tuned suspension (SPT I think) if it was going to make it ride like my WRX. Then the lady starts telling her how I've ruined my car by putting the OZ supperleggras (which were made for subaru) on it and how the car was a wreck. My wife looked at me with an . Then we get to the part where we are talking about price. We already had a price from fitz and anapolis, it was listed on their website as an internet price of like 14k. The lady calls me a liar then proceedes to look it up on the PC infront of us to call me on my bluff. So then she goes to some other website and says that she can't find it, that I am full of it. My wife leaves the dealership, with the test drive keys (oops). I am yelling that the woman is full of crap. The manager comes over, and she wont let me show her where to find the info I had found. The manager suggests that I leave, and as I get up, another sales person who was evesdropping says he found the price as I indicated. I give the sales woman the finger and go get in my car. They blow up my phone for the next 3 days about getting us to come back "it will be worth our while".

Another experience is when we bought our legacy. We wanted a white legacy with a black interior, not available for that particular year. They tell us that it cannot be done, buy the taupe interior. So I call up Andy Juskellis, he says, give me a week. He calls me back and says I have to sign a promisary note that I'll buy it when it arrives, we will have the only white legacy with a black interior in the whole USDM. I called Jones back and said that we found someone else that can do it for us. They balk that I'm full of it and that it can't be done. 6 weeks later, Andy calls me and says to come get our one-off legacy. (which was really cool, when ever I call annapolis and give them my name they ask me about it, probably scripting... but who cares).

So Jones blows because they jump to the concusion that the whole world revolves around them and I just dont care to talk about it anymore.

...thats all I have to say a'bout that-Forrest Gump.

Wow. Sorry to hear about such crummy experiences. Both times I've bought from them, it's been painless and very straight forward.

About your legacy, did they just get aftermarket black interior put in, or was it ordered like that directly from Subaru? Either way, cool deal. I'll definitely keep Annapolis in mind next time around.

From indiana that way. I am told they stop the assembly line before the interiors go in and switch the bodies. So there was a black one with a taupe interior that isn't supposed to have it too. Kind of like its paternal twin. Pretty cool that they did that for us. Makes me mad she traded it in for a Pathfinder
