Default fastest VF39 or VF43 ever?

I just want to know which one is the fasted VF39 on 1/4 mile. It doesn't matter what chasis, GC, sti or WRX. I also want international records.

Roly has the 39 record, xdrian has the 34 record.

Not sure if anyone has ran the 43 on another chasis, but I did 12.01 yesterday on my 43.

VF34 is a roller bearing

recorded is like a low 11.7 a simple search would have yielded these results instead of making a post demanding them

I knew Roly was the fastest sti with a VF39 but I was wondering if maybe a GC run a faster time, or someone over seas. Demanding

hahaha,

im not hating at all, by all means props to all your runs, i think you took my post the wrong way

its just that suby cars that achived something out of ordinary in the world of drag racing gets flamed time and time again, and its usually about weight. when i said my car was nearly stock weight when i made my past, people were saying i weighted around 120lb and my car was fully gutted, and so on, hahaha

i dont care what the car weights, run what you brung and hope its enought, i live in that code also,

but dont worry xdrian, im not looking for trouble, but since you asked then your ****ing on,

ill gladly try to blow away your damn "VF series record", and put a VF in the low 11s by the end of this year, if money wont hold me back again, aiming for that kinda is time can be a headache, since its pretty much playing with fire

yes my focus will now turn to weight reduction, since no one gets flamed for it no more, unlike 2 years ago haha

it took you long enought to take a vf series car down to 11s haha j/k

so whats the secret to getting a car down to 2650?

i search and search and my search netted that i could only get the car down to 3130lb with all the unnessary parts removed and without replacing any parts

maybe i should get a GC8 body and transfer everything and gut the **** out of it, hahaha

Holy chit, your back, lol... Yeah, my fat ass 07 weighed in at 3300 yesterday. Took the seat out but had an air compressor, laptop and 5 gallon drum of gas in the car.

im pretty sure that people in australia have gone faster.....like in the 10's on vf's.....

email Tony Rigoli Performance and ask them.

But Jaime from Australia that used to work at ESX told me people had run 10's down there, i think. I may have been drunk though.

but it would seem that if one had a vf in a gutted gc8 it could happen

I hear you, I like to add fuel the fire, we need competition to actually push these subarus to their potential.

For weight reduction, start thinking of replacing the front seats, those things are pigs, get some nice fixed back seats, that will save a ton of weight.

Start looking in the engine bay for pointless weight, stupid brackets and such you can replace with zip ties.

Trust me when I tell you that every little bit counts.
Once my car is done and back in my posession I know it will weigh more than last year. I'm going with a bigger turbo and a new manifold. I will take a picture on the weight scale at e-town or whatever track I'm at to show you actual weight.

The gc idea of being lighter is true but I don't think you can get it that much lighter than it is since is doesn't have as much safety equipment as the newer cars. When we weighed Junior's gc at the track we were both suprised on how much of a pig the car was!!! I forgot what it weighed but it was a lot more than I had expected.
