1997 Legacy GT wagon $2000
Its time for me to get a new car. The Legacy has really been a great car for me, but the last few months have been more than I feel like dealing with. It was in a minor fender bender (hence the rusty replacement hood & missing grille), then was broken into (hence the sweet gold door), & yesterday I had to put in a new radiator because the old one was leaking.
I love this car, and have taken awesome care of it, sadly right now the exterior doesn't reflect that. There are a two dime sized dents that I can think of, but other than that it is straight. It has had the headgaskets, timing belt, & valve covers done within the last 30k, along with a bunch of other things that I am blanking on right now. Anyways, I would like to get $2000 for it. It runs and drives great. I am also open to trades (must run). Extra points if its a BMW or a Legacy SS. I hate letting the car go looking like this, I was planning on getting another scooped hood and getting the door painted. After I had to replace the radiator today I just decided I don't want to deal with it anymore 1997 Legacy GT auto 2.5L clean interior JDM headlights 03 WRX wagon struts + H&R lowering springs & 3/4" paranoid fab saggy butt spacers (around 20k miles) gauges & HVAC all converted to red LED 199,550 miles (its a dd so this will slowly increase) Dean Wintercat studded snow tires with a ton of tread left 20% tint all around (minus the gold door ) I will include the tower, crossbars, & fairing for the right price (I am keeping the clamshells though) The car will need a new weatherstrip for the driver's door, and brakes (the steering wheel wobbles under hard braking) The car is pretty dirty in the pictures, but my plan is to clean it off tomorrow morning and shoot some new ones. Feel free to PM any questions you have. I have this posted on legacygt.com as well as Portland craigslist, but would rather sell to a forum member. I am willing to meet up in Washington if you want to see the car. A month ago it looked like this:

No thanks. I don't feel like re wiring the headlights on a car I am going to sell.
EDIT: I have gotten quite a few replies on CL and some interest on lgt. Somebody pick this up before it is gone! Last edited by daleyswanson; 02-17-2011 at 03:42 PM. |
