I am going to do some research and PM Kosta. That way he can set something up and get it going directly to him.

See if the Nick "GodFather" could help you get something going maybe. I'd put $10-$20.00 in. I remember when this thread was first started, didn't realize that tomorrow would be the 4th year mark.

Kosta has been posting, just not in here.

What's going on, man? It's all love over here! All we need is a paypal account, that's the only post you need to make.

We understand your frustration, but we believe it can get done. It HAS to get done! This is the kind of stuff that makes pages of automotive literature and inspires others!

This! You inspired me to sell my wrx and start restoring my 68 Camaro that's been sitting in a dirt lot for years. You've given us an enjoyable read and downright adventure that we, in an armchair fashion, have been part of. Let us give a little something back Kosta.

I know I know, but he has been MIA. It sucks, but if he wants to set it up I can walk him through it. Friggin was on PP like 2 hours this morning. They need to work on that website

Esponation, thanks for taking the initiative, but I would feel more comfortable sending to Kosta directly. He has been posting, just not in here. Maybe he needs a little break from it all.

Kosta, I'm upping my donation to $20. A lot of us here on NASIOC have had years of enjoyment looking at this thread. If i was close to you, i would give you a had with the mechanical work, but all i can do now is support this financially.
You are close to the finish line! don't give up yet!!

Yep. Us, the mods and Kosta all have to be on the same page for this to work. We'll work it all out. You gotta remember: Kosta invested almost 5 years and thousands of dollars on this project, and this block issue was a massive hit. He'll come around, just give him time to get his ducks in a row again.

If you really compare the amount of interest and entertainment you have given all of us on this website with your project it is more than worth a few buck from us for this to continue. We believe in you kosta! Besides im pretty sure most of us on here randomly donate 10 times more to random bar nights and drunken hookers. For once it would be nice to see the end result of this donation to be something other than a hangover and a special trip to the clinic.

This would make me donate 10 or more, so when you decide to take it count me in.

Where are the Aussies and Brits? Surely they have a spare case laying around in a tool shed somewhere. Worst case is block fill that area to keep coolant out, kill the spark to that cylinder, worst that can happen is gas in the oil and run a little rough.

Thats for the support everyone, but I'm not looking for charity.

However... I am contemplating making some things out of some of my spare parts and selling/auctioning/raffling them off.

Piston cup holders, engine coffee table, con rod toilet roll holders, crankshaft lamp tables, camshaft paper towel holders, maybe even piston pin cabinet handles... that sort of thing.

I have no idea how to do some of these things (like drill out the middle of the piston for the cup holders) but others I could accomplish pretty easily.

Maybe Nick can help. Like a NASIOC auction something along those lines.
