Default 06 wrx throttle body coolant bypass question

i want to do the coolant bypass mod to my 06 wrx. i live in florida so i dont see any reason to need the extra heat. the pictures i have seen were all pre-06 and electronic throttle. they had an in and out line for the coolant. when i went out and look at my car this morning i only saw one line that look similar to they previous years.

has anyone done this mod to an 06 and could help me identify which lines i need to block off or loop together to bypass the tb. thanks

Not really sure about this, but the service manual says 'hose' not 'hoses'.

5) Disconnect the engine coolant hose from throttle
body.

06 is electronic throttle, and has 2 lines in the TB for coolant (top and bottom).

Disconnect both hoses, and use one line to connect the barbs on the coolant hardline. I also recommend some caps on the TB barbs to avoid corrosion if you ever need to sell the car or TB.

The drive by wire cars have the exact same lines as the drive by cable. You do the mod in the exact same way.

No. Unhook the line from the top and side of the TB. For the line that hooked to the bottom, remove it from where it attaches to the block/waterline (can't remember which). Take the link that used to attach to the side of the TB, and attach it to the block/waterline where the first hose you removed went. I've done it on 2 06's.

A couple of drops at most, nothing major or where you had to top off anything.
