Default Ultimate Subaru Christmas Wish List (Anyone game for this?)

Yep. I was bored at work.

Anyone game for a Subaru only Christmas wish list?

To make it fun, let's say you can't get a new car! So that way you list the parts/upgrades you'd like for Christmas.

Here's mine: (trying to keep it realistic but you don't have to)
1. STi Hunter package from Rally Performance (suspension, brakes)
2. Alpine DVD head unit, amp, subs, 4 new speakers (ICE)
3. Full Samco hoses (ic hoses, vaccum lines, etc)
4. Full scooby sport exaust (no cats either) -- can be rolled up into order for item 1 above if you're buying)
5. A killer kit from Greg at underground graphics (theme to be determined, but it needs skulls in it) -- just for show mind ya.

That's it. Five, simple, realistic, attainable (with reasonable amounts of cash) mods to make my Christmas happy.

Who's next?

I'm still waiting for the ZERO comprimise suspension setup.

Adjustable : At least a damping adjustment, preferably independent compression and rebound as well as height

Comfortable : Adjustment range should include something reasonable for daily driving. They should not make LOTS of noise

Inexpensive : I can't afford to spend 5G on the ultimate suspension I desire

Reliable : I don't need adjusters breaking off or shocks that blow their seals or stick etc.

The two closest competitors at this point are the STi suspension and Koni inserts with decent springs. I haven't seen any reasonably priced coilover kit that has exhibited any decent build quality and NVH.

I'm just picky

Here's my Christmas wish list:

1. We can't get a new car, so I (kinda) wish the GSX would sell. Somebody out there has to realize that consistent 12 second 1/4 mile passes is worth $5500.......
2. Tein (Tien?) suspension.
3. Nice lightweight 17" wheels and tires, gunmetal or silver in color.
4. Maybe a Vishnu Stage II kit, more realisticly a Stage Zero with Buschur 3" turbo-back exhaust.

my list is:

1) a high paying, low effort job in Ohio
2) a high paying, high effort job in Ohio
3) any job in Ohio regardless of pay or effort.

pretty simple.

Oh yeah, can we speed things up and get to Dec. 13th quicker too???

2. Brembo big brake upgrades on all 4 corners, ....or any other system that costs alot.
3. Alpine multimedia system (DVD, Navigation, lots of screens, speakers and amplifiers), ....or any other system that costs alot
4. TXS UTEC, TMIC and maybe uppipe, ...or any other system, blah, blah

Flex with EDFC is a cheapie system. Get HA's or RA's!

I may know of a possible UTEC for sale that costs alot....

RT Spec. 'nuff said.

Hehe.

If I can just get that out of the way, most of the other stuff are fairly cheap in comparison. Except for the brakes/suspension.

Why cant an unheard of rich relative leave me a bunch of money.

I dont want the ones I know to pass away, They rule. But some like 14th Uncle by marrige that hates his immeadiate family.

camber/castor plates
steering rack bushings
1 set V700's and wheels
front swaybar/end links

7310 Flagship Park in the "Northshore on Lake Travis" development

http://www.vcproperties.com/7310flagshippark.htm

we bought it before we realized how bad our portfolio would go (90% drop in net worth over an 18 month period)

so, for somebody with the bucks, it's an awesome piece of property, in an exclusive development on Lake Travis, but it's just not in the cards for Debbie and me, we're back down to earth again now from a financial perspective

at any rate, if you know of somebody who might be interested, yes of course please pass the word along!

Thanks, GoodFinder
