Default 07 WRX VF39 tuned by Hill at Agile

First off i want to thank everyone at agile, from the front desk to the guys working in the bays. Jeremy installed my turbo and boost solenoid all with me looking over his shoulder and asking questions and was very informative and very nice. We had a little scare with coolant burning but Hill found the leak and got to tuning. The whole crew even stayed well after they're supposed to close to get everything bolted back up after the tune. now on to the tune

Hill tuned my car and unfortunately we didn't get stage 2 numbers but it would've been nice to see them if i had known what kind of numbers the 39 was going to put down.

VF39
STi TMIC
COBB Catless TBE
GM Boost Solenoid
SPT intake and Heatshield
NGK 1 step colder plugs lfr7aix
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Cobb AP V2

-First run 292 wtq 292whp or something close to that
-Final run 338.x wtq 317whp
-Fun run with ice on the intercooler(it was heatsoaking) and boost turned up a bit 357 wtq 325whp

we had the torque number up to 348 and hp at 312 but there was a sizeable bump in the torque curve so i decided to go with the smoother curve and less torque. i'll try and scan the dyno chart in, unless hill can post it for me. this was all on 93 pump gas, i forgot to ask what the IDC's were(maybe 90), but the stock injectors were great and flowed very well, as they are supposed to flow better than STi injectors. boost curve was as smooth as could be, target boost was around 19-20 i believe, 11.2 AFR's.
Hill said these were probably the highest numbers he's seen on a 2.5L WRX with the 39. thanks again to Agile Auto. Can't go wrong with these guys.

Are you not worried about your 5spd tranny? I've listed my mods below. I talked to a local tune shop (MZM) and I was told that the transmission in our cars wouldn't handle 300whp/wtq. They have a Mustang dyno so that might be the reason (their dyno reads an average of ~20***37; less than others). Did you do any research or have any troubles with your tranny as of yet? Let me know, im curious!

from what i've read the 05+ transmissions are significantly stronger than the previous years. that being said i think alot of transmission failures are driver negligence and error. I know people with 03(the weakest trans) with big 16g's, vf30's and 34's that run high 12's and low 13's that are still on the stock clutch and trans. i think as long as you don't dump the clutch at 5000rpms and learn to drive i think the trans will last a very long time with my power levels. that being said i'm deciding on a 6speed swap or 1-4 helical ppg's.

pshhh it might not be able to handle a 20g or bigger but I have 40k miles on my 06WRX and I had my vf39 at 10k miles and went back to stock turbo at 38k miles with not a hint I mean a hint of tranny problems. And Ive pulled off a 1.5 60ft with the damn thing, banged gears, gotten side ways and all sorts of horrible and dangerous crap that no human should be doing with a subie and shes still tough as a rock. Might I add I made 305whp and 350ftq with the vf39 so hes pushing basically the same amount I was. His tranny will be fine if he knows how to drive his car. Oh yeah is this the dude wtih the black one with an sti wing? This is the guy wtih the 06 with the front mount. I think I met you at the subie meet at red robin.

Just watch out for 3rd dying for no apparent reason..

Great numbers man...get that sucker to the drag strip soon.

And plus 1 on the "tranny will be ok" coments. Diver errors kill the trannys, that and the fact that 90+% of the broken trannys were the 02-03 guys. My 05 has held up so far to about 160 hard passes at the track, with the car in varying stages of modification, from stock to stage 4. The car has run as fast as 12.3@110 and I shift the crappers out of it. Only recently did I order a new clutch, and that was only to have it handy when the OE clutch finally goes out.

Again, nice numbers, I'm loving the simplicity of the 06+wrx set ups

congrats!
