Exclamation Add Your Timeslip Today!

I just installed a new hack courtesy of EvilLS1 at http://modernmusclecars.net/.

To enter your time, just enter the info into your user profile.

You can also add a link to an image of your timeslip. The image must be hosted somewhere in order to link to it though... just make sure you put the full URL in the profile field... that means http://myhost.com/myimagename.jpg

To view the database you can visit this page here:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/timeslips.php

or click the 'timeslips' link on top of the forums.

Enjoy.

Perhaps a field for elevation? My 14.28 looks slow for what what I've got, however its 'OK' for 6000ft.

Hmm... I'll look and see what I can do.

Only problem is it still won't correct the numbers on it's own, so it'll still look skewed.

Plus we'll also have to worry about temp and the other weather condtions... so we might end up chasing our tail.

In order to help class the cars better I added an 'Induction Type' field.

An in order to deal with the changes in elevation and environment I added a 'Track' dropdown. Next step I would like to find a way to link the track name to the track website.

Cool. I added myself, but whats with all the fake times, particularly the #1,2,3 spots?

I tried to clear some out... but we'll just have to wait till the monkeys stop playing with it to clear out the bogus results. I took care of a few of the more ridiculous ones though.

2 suggestions

1) Subaru only or at least a section just for cars with from other manufacturers.

2) Something like "Run info" to click on, where as a small window will pop up with info like, air temp, altitude, type of fuel, amount of NOS, tires, and vehicle weight with driver

For #2, it could be simply a link to a form that everyone has to fill out in order to upload their info, even if their answers are "N/A". These are the questions I ask every time I see 1/4-mile info that I'm interested in.

As it stands, I would be number 5 on the list, just under Doug and likely the fastest listed on 93 octane. But I know that wouldn't last.

Well those are some good ideas, but #2 is way beyond what the hack can handle... so I'd have to learn a bunch of stuff to do that. I'll see what I can do though.

As far as just the makes... it should really only be Subaru's anyway, but I'll see what I can manage. I'm thinking of adding a field that's Subaru, or Other Make, cause I really don't think we need a special place to sort through all the other makes. This afterall is a Subaru website.

Do it like these guys .

Rather than having a "Timeslip" slot, have a "Details" slot. There doesn't have to be a seperate line for each mod. Just have "Mods:" and "Comments:" Here, the owner/driver can put any info he wishes. The Details page also allows them to attach the timeslip link and event a video link.

For instance, the Detail page would look something like this for me:

Mods: Basically a TXS stage 4 with FMIC, AEM CAI, and GFB BOV.
Race Weight: 2995
Fuel: 93 octane
NOS: 0 shot
Altitude: ? Baytown Texas, near sea level
Air temp: 50-55 F
Tires: Kumho Escta 712 205/55/16

Comments: my timeslip shows 12.62 @ 106. My other runs were at and near 108. I slipped the clutch on the 3-4 shift. Could have had a 12.5x @ 108

Suggestion 1. Remove non-scooby entrees like the yamaha bike one, and the chevy one.

Also, whats with the times with no 1/8mile time, AND no track selected? What are those G-Tech times

WHP->250.7

1.650 [email protected] [email protected]

That doesn't make much sense how can you trap at 111.80 with 250whp

WHP should be "WHP & dyno shop"

Example: 280whp @ Cobb Tuning

Where did you get your list of tracks...that could be why some don't have a track listed....

I chose Thunder Alley Dragway, assuming you meant Thunder Valley Dragway...

Nick, can you add transmission type? That would be helpful for us autos out there to see how we stack up.
