ok so i made my first two runs ever in my sti...got it 2 weeks ago and only have jic-magic catback and a mbc set at 17 spike with a 15 fallout to redline...btw i cant post a slip(no scanner and camera makes it blurry)so heres my times. If anyone flames i will go and scan it at staples or something

run1:
r/t: 1.30
60`: 2.40 (horrible launch)
1/8: 9.57
1/4: 14.23
mph: 97.62

I granny shifted the first run i was afraid to miss a gear...

run2:
r/t: .720
60`: 1.812 (good launch)
1/8: 8.279
1/4: 12.970
mph: 104.36

This run was great...good launch..smooth but fast shifting..

Tell me what you guys think is this right on target for my mods or what?
I am new to the sti so i dont know what times to expect from minimal mods.

Here's the slip (car #349):

Best run:
1.80 60'
7.93 1/8th
12.35 @ 111.34 mph

I accidentally was running a map that wasn't running much timing - thus the low mph. This time I spun a lot on the launch and seemed to nail most of the shifts pretty smoothly. Went through the traps bouncing off the rev limiter.

Mods:

02 WRX
JDM STi v8
JDM 6 speed non-dccd
FP Green 7cm @ ~21 psi
Tial EWG - UR uppipe
TXS TMIC v1
UR 785cc
UTEC v5.0
94 octane (1/2 tank)
RE-92s - coolish day
full interior+spare

'05 9-2x, Cobb Stage 2. First time to run @ the track (Houston Raceway Park, November 3, 2006). Made three passes, first one a 14.54, second a 14.27, and the third:

R/T: .273
60': 1.936
330': 5.663
1/8: 8.828
MPH: 78.58
1000': 11.532
1/4: 13.854
MPH: 96.90

I wanted to make another pass, since I had improved with each one, but it was way too crowded. I've done a couple of mods since then, so I should be headed back pretty soon.

Im goin to the track next wednesday. I just got the dyno back on my car and it has 410 awhp. I have 18's and good street tires, but I dont know how they will hook up at the track. Whats a good time I should shoot for? Im hoping I can get into mid to high 11's. Is that reasonable?

Considering I've seen 400whp STI's run 13's who knows It's all dependant on track conditions, the driver having a good or bad day, etc etc...Go for it and come back with a slip! I'm interested as well!

This run was on VP 109MS race gas. Notice the lethargic 60' time. My stock clutch is slipping so I tried to ease out of the hole and nail it. It lasted for about 4 runs before frying. I'm going to put my ACT clutch in this weekend and then try again. Highest trap speed (on another slip) was 116.6mph.
