Here is mine from last night from Famoso drag strip. Both runs were pretty even. A catback will for sure free it up on the top end. but at least I am good on the tree!

First time at the track. Not too happy.
Best run is RT .599

1/4 14.224 @99.97mph
Not to good of the line. M/S tires maybe. Some clutch slippage? Jl sub and amps?
car has Factory Turbo and header, turboxs full exhaust (one three inch cat), ecutec chip and tune, spt intake, perrin turbo intake tube, sti intercooler, and some other stuff
You should be mid/low 13.s with trap speed & Mods, 60' kinda high. 1.8 moderate.

Yeah, should be. That is what I thought. Reaction time!! Original clutch. That's all I can think. Decent 1/4 mile speed. Just a** out the gate!!!

Reaction time doesn't effect e.t.

If its your first time its most likely just about lack of practice. The more you do it the better you get.

I finally got some clean runs in with the Dynolicious iphone app last night...here are the results if anyone interested (mild launch). for anyone not familiar with the app, it costs like $10 and it uses the built in accelerometer on the iphone to calculate the times/whp. also, i double-sided taped the iphone to the center console...gaaaaaaaaaangsta

mods: opensource stg2, invidia/5zigen catless TBE, megan header, gimmick inlet plus k&n panel filter.

app settings:
weight = 3565 lbs. (curb weight + 2 passengers)
drivetrain loss = 23% (i calculated this from dyno's collected off stock 06-07 wrx's)

results:
0-60 = 5.33 secs
0-90 = 11.82 secs

60' = 2.02 sec @ 36.7 mph
330' = 5.73 sec @ 58.8 mph
1/8 mi = 8.87 sec @ 79.2 mph
1000' = 11.60 sec @ 82.9 mph
1/4 mi = 13.87 sec @ 101.8 mph

max accel. = .70 G's
peak hp = 269 HP (i know this is not accurate but i'm guessing it calculated high due to the biased HP/torque in stg2's)

it will be interesting to see the difference between this and an actual timeslip. the pic isn't really a timeslip but it's still kinda cool cuz it shows my gansta home depot lip that lasted about 2 hours...

I ran an 8.7 with my 60 ft being a 1.9. My trap speed was 90mph... Shouldn't I be lower as far as time goes in conjunction with that trap speed?

You should be much quicker. I ran an 8.27 1/8th mile at only 82.2. I would expect mid 7's at 90.

I am on my third WRX. My last one was an 03 bugeye with mild mods, full exhaust, cold air, stock turbo, manual boost controler set to about 16psi and BOV. This car ran around 13.7 QM. I have had my new one for about 3 months. It is a 2004 STI and was built and tuned by TopSpeed of ATL Ga. The car produced 454 AWHP and 457 AWTQ on the dyno. I'll be going to my local track soon but I thought I could find out what to expect from this car through this thread.

Mods include: Garret Turbo tuned @ 26 PSI + meth (don't know the turbo model), SMC methanol injection kit tunded for 80/20 meth/water mix which starts spraying @10 PSI, 850cc fuel injectors, high flow walbro fuel pump, Perrin munual boost controler (26 psi), Perrin FMIC, Perrin BOV, Cobb Tuning access port piggy back ECU, Greddy Full TB exhaust, down pipe, up pipe, Perrin Cold Air Intake, Short through shifter and I have recently added a new ACT sprung disc 6 puck clutch with a 620hp capacity and a new 15 lbs flywheel. All stock internals, this car is on street tires (Nexen N7000s with 18in wheels and has no weight reduction done.

I am thinking it will run in the low 11 sec range. Am I about right? With a good driver, is it possible for this car to run high 10s?

cant find any of my slips but i will never forget my best time which was

60' was a 1.65
1/4 was a 12.67
MPH was 110

yeah seems weird but it sucks missing third haha but im running again tonight and it will be the first time since i got my new shifter and bushings in so lets see if i hit third this time and see if i can pull a 12.4 *CROSSES FINGERS*

not bad for 4" perrin top mount 3" turbo back, K&N short ram perrin inlet ported and polised mani and cobb stage 2 without being dynoed haha.... oh and the best part 90,000 miles and cylinder 4 compression is at 90 HAHA

^8.8 1/8th mile time is a low 14 to high 13 second 1/4 mile time. Good start but just keep practicing.
