the wheel fitment thread: keep it drama free
this fitment thread encompasses ALL styles: hellaflush, aggressive, stretch & poke, meaty tires, wrong fitment, correct fitment, etc.
this is not the thread for opinions. there is no right and wrong. points will given accordingly. if any "correct fitment" crew members post here, you will receive points for each and every post. please search and research before posting. i'd like to see educated questions, not "can i run a 17x9 +20 without modifying my fenders and stock suspension?" please follow this format: year: model: wheel model: wheel size/offset: tire brand/model: tire size: suspension: alignment: DON'T BOTHER ASKING ABOUT AN "AGGRESSIVE" SETUP IF YOU'RE GOING TO SAY YOU DON'T WANT TO ADD NEGATIVE CAMBER fender mods: spacers: yes/no? size? please let me know if there's anything else i can do to improve this thread. thanks in advance for everybody's help assisting other members. if you don't know what's required to fit a certain fitment, please refrain from posting so we don't clutter the thread up. if you think an offset is too low, too bad...don't post because this is the style thread where people do things because they think it looks good. Hey guys, I have been reading through this thread and just wanted to get some confirmation on the tire and rim combo that I am thinking about running this summer.
year: 2012 model:STI wheel model: Work Emotion XD9 wheel size/offset: 18x9 +38 or +43 tire brand/model: Stock Dunlops tire size: 245/40/18 suspension: GTWorx Bilsten cup kit w/ RCE yellows Will this set up fit with the suspension without having to do fender work? Also, if I were to go with the +38 offset will I need spacers up front to clear the brembos? Some posts in this thread seem to say yes, a spacer is needed and others say a spacer is not needed. Any clarifications would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Hey peeps so I recently bought some rota grids (17x9 +42) I like them but I would rather go with 18s.. Would 18x8.5+35 fit? 18x8.5+20? Would it be a little bit more aggressive than the grids (because of the offset)? Spacers? Looking at the Miro 398s or xxr 531s thanks!
year: 2005 model: Wrx sti wheel size: 18x8.5 wheel offset: +35 tire size: 235/40-18 suspension: Apexi coilovers. camber plates fender mods: don't mind Spacers: hopefully not |

For that fitment you cannot get enough camber out of bolts alone. |

Got a buddy looking to get re11's in 245/40-18, not 100% sure if he has 18x8 or 18x8.5.
Will 245's fit on stock 2004 STi fenders with JIC coilovers or will he need a roll? |
