Default How much of an effect

Well i recently just made a purchase of evo 3 16g,pe 650cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, short ram, and cobb ap.After install pro tune like the next day.

I work wit a guy whos a vendor for snow preformance, hes a huge mustang guy.So we are always talkin cars and told him my setup and asked him if meth injection was worth it and he said no not on my car.

So, my question is how much of a increase in power does it make and does anyone else think its worth it??

current modds:full catless exhuast ebay big tmic

thanx billy

I would say it is worth it for 2 reasons:

1.) you will gain power (think 15%)
2.) you will gain safety. If you get a bad tank of gas it wont be as bad

Negatives are that it is one more thing that can go wrong. You will have to keep an eye on it.

maybenot he prolly has lots of q's that weall do when first starting out also we need the info so fast we cant stop to type periods
you need to get a professional tune to extract the full potential of water/methanol/alcohol injection. Also, you don't "hit" the meth, either a pressure switch or electronic control unit starts the methanol injection at a predetermined boost point.
Research and read as much as you can in this forum. After a couple of days you will have a decent handle on what methanol injection is all about.

It all depends on how you have it set up. Most people have it turn on at a given boost, and then tuned. This way it will always turn on at the right time, and the tune is ready for it. Maybe you should talk to your tuner?

peace
