I'm going to start saving up for a Gayman S. Wait I mean Cayman S. Even with the crappy name it's gonna be a pretty damn sweet car.

Good point. 930 = teh drool (without the slopenose)

I'd also give it up for a 944S.

that article rocks, watching the champ car drive around is insane, you can see the raw power to weight ratio.

After wallowing amid no less than eight 935s last weekend, I think a street legal 935 K-3 would do just about right.

two turbos seems about right...

Intimidation:

On an open test day at VIR, driving a Spec Miata, and getting passed by a 935 on the back straight.

935 = ultimate evolution of the 930.

We also have a 930 here at work that's had a bunch of Ruf engine work done to it. It's a beast, even driving it around the parking lot.

I think we'll be good friends. Wanna ride bikes?

F40 > *.ferrari

I wonder how much I could get a 944S2 for? If I could find one

Instead of the rabbit beater you could buy Erik's 323 beater.

323 is not as cool as the GTI. not even close. if you had driven a rabbit GTI you would have not made such a statement.

I know that. I was just suggesting a cheap beater that someone we know is selling. My simple attempt to further tempt him.

You'll buy me a porsche if I do? Score!

Isn't Erik's 323 the turbo AWD one? He's selling it?

Might be a little off on the 1/8th mile, but its a pretty good distance. The car dynoed at well over 500hp at the wheels. The idiot that owned it, drove it on R-Comps all the time (money to burn). I would say we could bring it back down to the shop, but he totalled it within 3 months of having it built.

Ooh beater 323...what's his name on here so I can PM him about it?

I've always loved the 944 Turbo S (aka 951) for some reason.

I know you just exaggerated on the 1/8 distance.

I know Turbo 911 have huge low end torque, I am sure it can lit up all 4 R-tires for a second or 2......
