Default Who in AKIC rides (snowmachines)

Chances are looking really good at me staying up here over the winter. So i was wondering who rides? I'm not going to bring my sled in Wisconsin up because I really want to get my hands on something newer with a 151+ track.

I ride mostly boondocking and through the trees, haven't really done any climbing and would rather not ride trails because it's kinda boring

On the plus side it's July so that means snow in 4.5 months

I've been known to do a bit of riding on occasion. I've thinned the fleet down because I don't ride as much anymore though. I like exactly the same riding style, boondocking... trees, hills and deep with a few mountains thrown in to keep the blood flowing.

My favorite sled was an '04 summit 800 151, but now I have a couple older mod sleds because they were too cheap not to buy. Both are 98 670X's, one has a 151 and fabcraft tunnel, the other is a 136 M10 w/ a UB 740.

onecoldAKn on snowest, kbeefy on Doo-talk.

Boondockin in AK...

Heres a tip kids, transition at the bottom of a hill at an angle....

Sweet beefy. Low the deep pow pics makes this 90 degree heat seem so much cooler now Lol.

Well shipping would be 350 on my sled or there abouts thinking I may bring it up regardless. I got too much blood spilt over it to not ride it. But idk lol

I love the SnoBunjie. not always the best option but when it works it's awesome! I started modifying mine and wound up having to build my own.

not at the moment, but it's longer and has a soft sleeve that folds up smaller and doesn't break in the cold. I'll try to dig it up in the near future. It aint as pretty but I think it works better.

My current sled is an 07 Poo 600cfi pushing a 144", bullet proof but I out grew it fast. I ordered a 2010 M8 153" SnoPro Limited, supposed to dyno out at 160hp+ stock. This will be my first Cat so should interesting, I can't wait.

I love the Polaris Raw chassis, but the 800 burn down problem is what kept me from going with Polaris, plus the Cat is putting out way more HP for 2010. I hear they just released news though that they have a fix for the 800 and they are just waiting for it to pass EPA so that is good news for the 800cfi owners.
