Default 2002 Wrx Wagon Misfires - Help!!

I have a 02 WRX wagon with about 115k on it that has been getting random misfires on all cylinders. Here is a list of mods:

VF22 Turbo
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Perrin short ram intake
Grimmspeed boost controller
Light weight flywheel
MRT Downpipe
MRT Cat Back Exhaust

I am still in contact with the original owner and he never had issues with random misfires, even with the light flywheel. Here is a list of things I have tried:

Cleaned maf
Replaced fuel filter
New plugs: ngk pfr6g gapped at 028
Compression test @ 150 psi per cylinder
Cleaned crank sensor
Good fuel pressure
No vacuum leaks
New pcv
Double checked all clips to coil packs
All grounds are good and clean
Replaced coil packs
Seafoamed Top End

This all started when I decided to do a tune up and replace the plugs. I have tried ngk irridum plugs with no luck also. The car runs fine with no bouncing idle and no noticeable misfire at idle or driving. I am running out of ideas and I am looking for ANY other advice! Thanks!

It almost feels like the car has a slight misfire while sitting at idle...this is odd. After speaking with the previous owner he swears that the car had no misfire issues after he had the lightweight flywheel installed. He said he had it for 20k with no issues. All this started to happen after I decided to do the plugs

Would having a walbro 255 fuel pump on the stock fuel system have anything to do with this?

So I replaced the Crank Position Sensor and so far no more misfires. (Fingers crossed)!! When pulling the old one it looked ok but just replaced it anyway. Is there a way to test these? Its a magnet...how can it go bad lol?

Did you ever pull the codes and see what the computer was telling you? If it was setting codes, it would save you a lot of troubleshooting time, as well as money on random parts.

Typically when you have a random misfire on all cylinders its either a MAF, or a bad crank sensor. '02's don't seem to have many problems with light flywheels and crank pulleys (mine has both and has never given me trouble) becaues their computers were simply not fast enough to process if there was a problem like that.

So, my guess would be crank sensor or MAF, based on what you say. But pull the codes and find out for sure. If you don't have a scanner, stop by your local autozone, they do it for free.

Yes I have pulled the codes. Got all random misfires P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304...all in random patterns and never all on at the same time.

Well, it sounds like you may have gotten it with the crank sensor. So... awesome!
