Hey Tim. Do you happen to know when you will be at Yimi after this next trip? My car will not be ready by the 28th, but I would definitely be interested in your next visit.

Thanks,
Brian

Tim, I'm interested in getting a tuned for 50/50 injection on my 18G 2.0L Would you consider that a $350-400 "pump tune", or $400-500 "additional fuel type" tune?

I have some questions about ecutek's map switching that I discussed earlier with you buy needed clarificaiton on..

You said "The only map switching features supported by ecutek (without Easy ECU) is for boost switching only. If you have easy ECU (a separate EcuTek product) then you can totally switch maps by reflashing the ECU."

Does this mean that I can have my Map A tuned high boost for injection, and map B detuned with a lower boost to be safely driven witout alky if my pump were to fail? Or could I retain my current map B an you just make me an alky map A?

Dear Surgeline Tuning,
I would like for my car to be tits.

Tim, you ever get those things to replace that vacuum line on the hydra? Also, tell me what boost controller to get.. I'm ready for my race gas tune!

Exactly, i can set up the lower boost map to a level just below the trigger target for the water meth system.

BiggSean's tune was possible because of a larger quantity of methanol injected. This tune was done without water. With some water content I won't be able to push the system as hard. Water is not a combustable fuel while methanol is.

Can you system use 100% methanol? What is the highest possible flow? Is there a safety boost disable system?

I can do it with an external MAP sensor. Have paul order a 5 bar AEM MAP sensor and I'll wire it into your hydra. If paul can't get one before the weekend i have a one in a box (meant for my car) that I can bring down.

As long as i'm in the hydra doing some wiring i might as well set up a switch for race fuel maps.... something that will turn off meth injection but enable boost and the race fuel ignition and fuel map offsets inside the ECU. Did you also want launch control and flat foot shifting. I have an extra harness at home to do this. ;-)

Do you think we'll make 700 HP???????

Just Sent a PM...I'd rather spend 3 min on the phone then having to go back and forth like this.

BTW, I'm 15min from Disneyland. I could pick up the ECU instead?

I was trying to keep up with a soccer mom on her cell phone; drinking an iced coffee from starbucks while she flicked her cig out the window.

Man, wish I had all my parts in so I could get a new tune. Tim, I hope you're around next month! I'll deffinently be down for a tune! Great job on my car last time! I've switched up a whole bunch of parts, and none of the parts match the tune, but my car still runs pretty good haha. It's calling out for you though.. anyways, +1 for Tim!

Hey Tim.. do you have time either Saturday or Sunday to tune my car? I installed an ARC intake box and my car threw a check engine lol and it feels like it's not boosting. Anyways, please let me know. Excited to be tuned by you again!
