Cool Bugeye Extinction - Another I Got My Car Back From the Body Shop Thread

I just got my car back from the body shop yesterday (someone had keyed it all over by where i live, by that's a story in itself), finally got a chance to take some pix in the daylight with the fresh new paint job + some new additions.

Let me know what you think. This car has been through making makeovers. Maybe one of these days, when I have more time I'll post a "through the years" thread.

The Front before I got my FMIC....

I didn't want to cut into my fog light area so I replaced my front bumper with a used one... and had it like this for awhile until it got keyed...

The rear used to look like this. before I took in the shop....

The nice message I had on the driver side door...

Thanks for the comments guys! Yes, if i knew how to do body work, I'd mold the lip spoiler cleaner.. but since I can't....... I'm happy with it nonetheless.

Actually... the Mines Lip Spoiler was designed to function with the WRX Wing and that's how I wanted it, but because the body shop didn't want to repaint my spoiler (got egged and didn't see the egg whites on WHITE paint) I had them removed.

Are you talking about the one with the splitter? I like it too, and I miss it. That bumper is actually sitting in my garage right now. If i ever want that bumper back on, I'd have to change my FMIC to one that would let me keep my fogs. I don't want to cut through the fog area with existing i/c pipes, that would waste my bumper.

But for now, as for daily driver, the new look is better. I don't have to watch for parking stoppers, go waaaaaaay siideways on driveways, and etc. Maybe later on, if I stll have this car, I'll eventually slap that old one back on.

Thanks for looking!

lol. I didn't want to spend any more money, or else.. this car would never be done. haha. I have a list of things I'd like to have done but ... controlling myself to do the most minimal but satisfying ones.

I could've gotten the APR rear diffuser through partial sponsorship, but that would require a new rear bumper since the existing is molded on. (If you see my old bumper setup, the oem-style front lip are molded on as well) If I ever put the old front bumper back on, I would probably go ahead and go with the real rear diffuser.

I'm looking to replace my sideskirts, cause the spats are molded on, and I have since fixed it 4 times cause it cracked. So yup, the aero mudguards will go on soon enough.

I think, if I didn't have bills to pay and a house to save for, I can probably "perfect" the car. haha, but for now, with my limit budget... I'm satisfied.

Need new tires too, and a retune... and etc. the list goes on.

Thanks for the comments guys! I appreciate it.

NoSubYet: Thanks Joe!!
