Baking Headlights
Does anyone know the website of the company that does it for you? I did mine but the condensation is bad.I don't feel like doing it myself again, plus i think the company could get a better sealant on it.

Not sure of any company other than lightwerks that does this. I would say just redo it yourself and take your time. You will be able to get all the condensation out of it and then use some clear or black silicone to put around the headlight to seal it...

If you have bad condensation then put then in the oven at 215 for 10 minutes with the bulbs taken out to try and dry them out.

See the main problem is that I did do it and it DID look great. BUT my car just got out of the shop. It received a WHOLE new paint job, im guessing when they baked my car to cure the paint it created all of the condensation. I just feel like getting it done with a tighter vacuum seal.

I just emailed lightwerkz.net and asked them what guaranty they have with their seal and how much they will charge me. I will post back with the response.

Did you put fresh silicone in when you put your lights back together?

Yes I did add new silicone. I think I was just unlucky and missed a spot or created a hole somewhere. |
