Default FS: 05 WRX lights-Complete HID Bi-X Projector Retrofit Ready-Ballasts/bulbs/etc!!!

HOUSINGS SPOKEN FOR, WILL START NEW THREAD FOR THE HID COMPONENTS

You will get

-2 05 WRX headlights (gunmetal surrounds)
-2 OEM STi ballasts (with H4 wiring harness for plug and play into WRX)
-2 D2S OEM Phillips bulbs
-A ton of spare wires/end caps/abs plastic sheet/screws/sealing end caps/all other bubls for lights

Notes
-The lights are still dissassembled. You can plaint the housings any color you want or add/remove the orange reflectors
-The reflectors on the low-beam side have been cut/modified to fit LARGE 3" Bi-xenon projectors
-The housings have been cut a tad in the rear to make room for the bi-xenon solenoids

I never fully mounted the projectors and sold my STi before I finished the project. I could finish the retrofit, but am not comfortable doing it without a car to install them on to level/align before I reseal them. One reflector was damaged, but I completely fixed it with lots of epoxy and painted over it. Once everything is together its not noticable at all (epoxy on the rear inside face)

you simply need to add your own projectors of choice, They run from $150-$500 depending on the projector/lens combo. If you can locate the STi reflector housings you basically get OEM HIDs for $500!!! Even with $100 HID projectors these will blow the STi reflector housing HIDs out of the water

Pictures of the headlight assemblies and the projectors in the housings (still not mounted). I personally think they LOOK SICK. You can add the orange reflectors if you wish, i will send all those parts and the orginal bulbs as well. (EVO PROJECTORS NOT PICTURED)

if someone were willing to drive to you how much would you charge if in fact you would be interested to fit them on the car and finish the retrofit?

hmm, not sure. Honestly I'm not a professional (although I have played with plenty of lights), so I dont know what the going rate is

However, the main killer is my time, i dont have a whole lot of it

Sorry for the dark pics, yes, I painted the low beam reflector housing gunmetal to match the projector shrouds and the gunmetal surrounds on the lights

How much work is required to get the complete set up and running?

Not much really. You just have to screw the projectors to the bottom of the reflector housings. There are 2 screw holes on the bottom of the projectors and the bottom of them is flat. So 2 screws for each projector to solid mount them to the low beam reflector housing, maybe a little extra JB weld. Then you gotta seal up the back of the housing, but I have some large end caps from maxima headlights I will include, in addition to some other stuff and sealant

Then assemble and seal the lights again. The rest is wiring, I will include quick splice connectors on the bi-xenon solenoid harness so you can quick-splice into the high-beam wiring harness. Its just a simple 12v supply needed to operate the bi-xenon solenoid that flips down the cut off shield

I noticed you removed the old projector combo. Pictures of the new projectors/shrouds?

There are no new shrouds, the old projector has a custom built shroud onto the projector itself. The new projectors are unmodified standard evo HID units

3" crystal clear lens, made by stanley (same maker of the tsx and TL projectors)
