I love good beer. My favorites are Doppelbocks, Golden Strongs, Triples, Belgians, Traditional Hefeweizens (Not that Widmer ****) etc... Some of my favorites are:

http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/620/1661 Hirschbrau Doppelbock
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/252/779 Weihenstephaner Korbinian
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/252/11571 Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Leicht
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/42/3457 Three Philosophers (though really you can't go wrong with just about any of ommegang's beers - http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/42)
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/820 Just about anything from Augustiner (Maximator being one of my favorites)
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/222/695 Duvel

Do you come down to Portland at all? There's a few great places here for beer, http://www.baileystaproom.com/ (20 rotating taps, many many many bottles) and Green Dragon has a pretty good selection.

La fin du monde, that's some good stuff. My beer taste is all over the place, I will even enjoy a nice "grenade" every now and then.

Just found a new favorite, 2nd Sight Strong Scottish Ale from Black Raven Brewery in Redmond. I usually drink just about any ale or stout, and the darker the better. Mr_Hox has a great list, I second most of those.

One that I overlooked because of the deceptively low price is the Lagunitas Imperial Stout. It's $3.29 for 10.14% alcohol, and the flavor is exactly what I like. On the lighter side, I like Moose Drool and Guinness, but I like dark and heavy, so that Imperial Stout is the shiz. Easily up there with Old Rasputin.

Yes - their Imperial Stout is fantastic, along with the Brown Shugga.

I <3 Beer!

IPA's, Imperial IPA's, Imperial Stouts, Winter ales and Barleywines are my favorites.

I live in Bend, OR which may as well be the center of the micro-brew universe so it works out pretty well. In our town of 80,000 people we have 8 micro breweries, including the famous Deschutes Brewery.
