Just had a Velvet Merkin from Firestone Walker. Pretty good stuff. I love the beers that come out this time of year!

What you have is one of Stone's Veritcal Epics, they release one each year (started 2-2-02) and are all meant to be saved until the last one (12-12-12) is released and tasted together |

I'm impressed with how serious some of you are with your beer. My next question (which seems to be a recurring theme) is where do you get the good stuff for cheap? I know of Gravity in Olympia, and I know Whole Foods down here can get just about anything for a price. I already mentioned Lagunitas Imperial Stout for $3.29 at Albertsons in Hillsburrito. That's the only thing I've figured out so far. Jacob |

I have one of these that has been cellered for the last 2 years. Going to break it out on my birthday in a couple weeks. - http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/413/45695
Picked up a 4 pack of Widmer Dead Lift IIPA last night. I love imperial IPA's and this one is solid. My only tip is to let it warm up a bit. The warmer it got the better it was. |

Does anyone know of a place near Beaverton/Hillburrito that has Guinness on sale right now? I'm coming down with a cold, so I'm going to need to stock up. Jacob |

Oh, saw your other post that you found it at Albertson's... the albertsons around here suck for beer selection. Last edited by Brock; 11-12-2010 at 05:52 PM. |

Mcmenamins Ringlers has giant old-school urinals. And Deschutes Brewery in the Pearl District has massive urinals as well.
I found a pic of the Deschutes pissers on line. |

I love beer, probably one of mans greatest creations. I love a good IPA with a great bitter hoppyness to it. Or a crisp white ale.
Some of my favorites: Dogfish Head 90min IPA Dogfish Head 60min IPA Stone IPA Allagash White Ale Hefienwisen Wheat "I dont think I got the spelling right" The mens room orignal red is quite good also |

Anything by 7 Seas Brewing in Gig Harbor. Home of the proper pint! Some of the best beers around! If anybody ever wants to drop into the tap room hours and grab a pint let me know... the taproom is only open thursday-sunday, but it's definitely worth checking out. Might be a good place for a meet!
Good people there. Even better beers. Cheers! |
