Default Reputable engine builder in Slc, Ut or Reno, NV

Hello all, newbie here (to forum and to Subie). I recently purchased a sandrail with 2.0 Dohc turbo engine and man am I impressed. So much so that I decided my other sandrail with vw running gear needs a Subaru engine instead. I bought an old (2005) Impreza with a 2.5 sohc engine for cheap (rough car and a lot of miles). Cheap enough I can justify refreshing the engine. I live in Elko, NV which is halfway between slc and Reno. So I was wondering if anyone can recommend an engine builder/machine shop in these areas that's well versed in Subaru? Any machine shop can build a Ford 302 or Chevy 350, but I feel like the boxer engine is a different beast that should be handled by someone with boxer experience. Also what's a ballpark figure to expect to pay? No rod knock or anything, just 277,000 miles. I'll bring in engine as long block so no added expense of engine removal, etc.

Metric Motors north of SLC does sandrail builds. I've heard great things about them, and bad things haha. I don't have any experience with them personally but they did a conversion on my buddy's vw van and it's been great.

Jensen's Auto Service in Ogden, UT are excellent. They do great machine work and rebuilding of heads. I've used them and trust them to build an engine. I didn't have them assemble my engine, just the machine work but looks like they will assemble an engine.
