Post Instaled my hitch today too...

I had the hitch on the other day but i pulled it back off to paint it blue. I was psyched it went over the muffler rather the under. Saved me from having to cut it apart and have it welded "over-the-muffler" style.

I even did the recever blue..

Peas,
AaRoN

Question

Aaron,
The hitch looks nice. How much weight can a stock RS tow? Where did you purchase the hitch from and how much was it?

Thanks,

Juan

Question

ditto. I need one too. Did you get it from hitch-web.com (I think that is the URL)?

Also, do you need one of those $50 adapters for the wiring, or can you just splice a plug in to the existing wiring?

Hi all,

The hitch was from U-haul simply. Yes, there is a wireing harness theat goes with it, i think i payed 220$ total for the hitch and harness.

The impreza is rated for 2000lbs and a toung weight of 200lbs.

The hitch bolts right up. no drilling or cutting. Everything needed comes from U-Haul.
