Default 2011 wrx cracked lower front bumper

Hit a snowpile and cracked lower front bumper on my 2 week old wrx, was wondering if i had to replace whole bumper, maybe fix, or if anyone knows of insert.
Also where could I get a whole new painted bumper

Do you have any pictures of the damage and where are you located?

From what I have seen, I think you have to replace it unless you know a really good shop.

However, pics will help...

Cracked my lower bumper too. Not sure if it was from the snow or going up a steep entrance to a parking lot. But either way, cracked my lower bumper on my 1month WRX. Thought of fixing it but might just get a band aid vinyl and zip tie the crack and call it a day. Let me know if you get it fixed or replaced. And how much it cost so I could consider it.

I cracked my front bumper about a month ago (2010 STI), and it cost me over $700 to fix. $250 for the cover, and the rest was paint and labor.

I did not shop around or anything, so I may have been able to get a better price.

My friend just pointed out to me earlier that I managed to put a small crack on on the driver side bottom edge of my front bumper also. Definitely interested in what you do to fix yours

Well, my 2011 SS has a small crack in the front bumper on the left side... barely touched the curb... Unfortunately, mine has been 3M clear bra-ed and now I would have to replace both the bumper/paint and the bra. I'd rather put on a nice lip to combat the crack speadings and cover the little bit of damage. Any suggestions?

That would be good, because it really seems like a problem. Our car has around 1000 miles on it....so it's not from normal wear and tear. I think they are weak.

It's plastic... I don't really think they crack from "normal" use, bugs hitting it, small rocks/sand hitting it rain/snow hitting it... I believe it cracks when YOU hit or touch a curb/BIG rock or a big pile of snow & ice like I did and lo and behold it cracked... Whose fault was it? Snow plow operator? Subaru for making it so low and flimsy? GOD? NO, It was my fault your fault for hitting something with it...
