Wink Need some "creative" ideas about mounting a painting

I'm getting an xmas/housewarming present for my girlfriend (hope she doesn't notice this thread ). A while back we were on amy brown's website and she picked these 3 prints as ones she liked. I figured I would get the prints and get them all mounted, matted and framed and whatnot. I just need to figure out the color of the matting and frame. This is what I came up with in photoshop. Whaddya think? I figured the purple matting on the inside would contrast nicely and then the slightly off white big matting wouldn't take away from the print.

Thanks for the input....
-Tom

I think they look good the way you did them, too elaborate of a matt would draw your eyes away from the center.

FTW
