You need to cut the ends off since they are too long. I also drilled more holes in it to secure it with more bolts. Some heating/twisting/turning of the lip may be needed to properly sit flush.

^what he said... I cut both ends about 1.5" & used heat gun to bend it a bit to fit narrow body. It isn't as hard as it sounds... I was nervous at first but it was easier than I thought. Just be patient & take your time doing it.

Very clean. The only thing that I don't get is what is the logo you replaced with the original Subaru logo on the grill? I see a lot of people have it but I have no idea what it is.

Hmmm... I guess I will have to try again. It is a newly wiped iPhone 5S with 64GB and latest updates. I ran the app and it just would completely freeze- like the top banner was fighting with the page it was trying to open or something. Had to uninstall it.
Was on wifi too, with 50mbps down and 6mbps up connection.

HAAHAH that is funny very clever, so basically we should start hanging logos of all the cars we have pulled out of ditches. and hang them off of our tow hooks haha. Good idea though i like it

Anybody on here ever use eibach springs, a local guy has a set for sale... Also i know that they are kind of cheap as far a coilovers go but anybody use the tein street basis coils before? Im thinking i would be better off with rce blacks, anybody selling a set of those!

Edit: i found a set of lightly used h&r street performance coilovers local... Anybody running these?

Anybody know if i drop the rear an inch will i have neg camber? You guys who are on swift or any lowering springs will i be ruining my rear tires if i drop the car an inch?

I am running eibach pro lowering springs. I think they are legit and love the way they look. I am running 18x8 with 245/40s and barely have any rub unless I am really pushing it. I got an alignment and was set with no extra wear on my new tires so far. I would highly recommend you get an alignment or you will use tires a little quicker. But I still got around 35-40k miles on a set of tires without an alignment since the previous owner never did one after putting the springs on. Just a note though my rear shock is blown at around 50k miles so no clue if that is due to the lowering springs or just normal wear and tear. Just keep it in mind. If I had the money I would definitely go for some coil overs.

The h&r street performance coils im thinking about can have a minimum drop of about 1 inch... Obviously they go lower but i want to stay as high up as possible, especially for winter and the buffalo roads. Do you ever have a full car, im talking like 4 grown men (including yourself, because i dont count the middle a backseat haha) in your car? Im worried that i will be rubbing on the rears if i do and i often help my friends with rides... Im thinking that the stiffness of the coils could potentially stop that from happening but im nervous... What do you think? Im running 17x8, +53, with 225/45 tires...

I technically have Eibach springs...

If I were going for springs, I would want the RCEs. I had Swift springs, they weren't great. I had the softer sport version and they were too soft.

Camber wear isn't as damaging as toe wear. A lot of people mistake toe wear for camber wear. Get the car aligned for zero toe and your tires will be fine.

Those are konis with a ground control kit right? If i had the money i think that would be a sweet set up! And ya im definitely going to align it after i do it, i just dropped $500 on tires soo i would prefer them to last haha

Koni and Ground Control. The nice part was that I didn't have to do it all at once. I was driving on the Konis long before I got the GC kit.

I know konis are probably the way to go i just dont think im comfortable installing them my self and i dont want to pay anybody i want to work on it with a buddy of mine and do it myself. Plus i can get a solid deal on these coils, they were well maintained and have only like 15k - 20k on them. So i think i might pull the trigger on them and if its too low ill try another route.

Had 3 friends in the car back when I was on lowering springs and 17x9s. Let's just say the lettering on the rear tires was gone within 30 mins of driving.
Coilovers on the other hand are not really affected by more weight in the car, unless you have a super soft spring rate for some reason.

For consideration:

This rubbed

And this doesn't

Never rubbed my 17x9 255. People in the car will scrape the speed bumps though.
