Default 2007 Legacy - MPG is even better!

So I've been seriously considering a new LGT as my next car, but that won't happen till next year sometime. I was concerned about the mileage as the 05 (current MY when I started looking, before the 06's came out) was only 19/25. That's pretty weak, despite the massive power you get. Well, things have only gotten better and I'm psyched:

LGT Manual
2005 - 19/25
2006 - 20/26
2007 - 20/27
2007 - 19/26 (Spec. B 6-speed)

LGT Automatic (5-speed)
2005 - 19/25
2006 - 19/25
2007 - 19/25

Legacy Manual
2005 - 23/30
2006 - 22/29
2007 - 22/29

Legacy Automatic (5-speed)
2005 - 22/30
2006 - 23/30
2007 - 23/30

Now frankly I'm surprised the Spec. B this year gets worse mileage than the 5-speed, but that is because it weights 100lbs more. I was hoping for better highway mileage, but oh well. Really I'm not sure if the 6-speed is even worth it for that extra money without extra power. The suspension one can take care of themselves, more power is by yourself anyway, and the wheels + color are the only other real bonus. Not quite worth it IMO, despite me being excited about the 6-speed.

I'm a specification freak, I love having all the little nitty gritty details at my fingertips. Here's some good stuff on the 07 Leg's for those who care:

Mileage went down on the N/A Legacys for 06. Probably just a slightly different EPA test though. Not bad, considering it's rated higher than my EJ22 was in 1995 (28mpg, although I regularly get 30mpg hwy.)

Still, for a turbo, it's not bad mileage.
