Default HELP !!!! with APS intake

We went to put it on today and when we went to put the filter on it wouldnt fit cause of the little plastic piece for the bumper. My friend said the old aps cai used to be all the same diameter where as the one i have is 65mm but once it goes into the fender its a little bigger. so how did you guys install yours ??

Come on Jason, I thought you had muscles lol.

Is it the APS filter? I have no idea about APS stuff, but might be it.

Did you buy the whole thing new? Used? More details yo!

on the the +06 the plastic bracket does get in the way. you can squeeze it on or trim the bracket but it's very hard to get to.

Yeah when I install then I just trim the bracket. There is room to trim a small amount with out affecting the bracket.
