Edited I forgot to add those to my already completed list of trouble shooting thanks for pointing that out!

Harness. Same thing happened to me and I swapped the harness on the intake manifold and fixed it. Also try more grounds.

do a log monitoring your avcs,if that int. cam for some reason is staying advanced(even a few degress) when its not supposed to it will cause misfires.

Yes. Just the harness on the intake manifold. I'mnot saying that's your problem lol but it was mine. Check what John is saying also about avcs

Nice build man, I look forward to starting mine. Probably going to be awhile before its ready for the road. I am hoping to break the 600 mark as well. I don't know if anyone has done that in an OBXT yet? Good luck with the misfire.

Thanks man I still owe you some feedback! I will get to it ASAP with what you will have soon 600 should be no problem with the right turbo set-up! The block will hold it that's for sure!

I wish I would have payed more attention to the cylinders during my break in while running pump instead of trying to figure it out now. I've also yet to swap the engine harness. A new development for whatever reason my shops computer will not read the front 02 sensor either it does not move on their scan gauge during any conditions idle or driving The sensor is brand new I do not get any codes and I've tried multiple 02 sensors that worked on different cars perfectly. We have looked through the main harness which goes into the ECU through the firewall and found no messed up wires etc. it's also not attached to the engine harness that I still want to swap to check the block. Is there a possible connection somewhere that I'm missing? |

Maybe the conntector thats actully hooked into the sensor? Probe it for continuity from the Ecu pin to the sensor and see if u got a solid wire or if theres a break... Have u done a leak down? Or compression test to see if u have a valve issue? Maybe spark plug arching? Like a broke porsolin sorry not the best speller lol.. Umm if its one cylinder maybe ur harness could have a break and causeing it to ground out or something
I vote harness issue!!!! |

Quick update I swapped the harness today and the roughness stayed the same :-(
We tried to knock out a tune today as well and ran into some fuel issues for whatever reason. I'm going to take out the fuel pump tomorrow and see if something is going on with my pump pressure is dropping off once we start putting 22lbs+ of boost. I've ran 26 on this turbo and exact fuel set-up as I currently have without issues. So on to more trouble shooting I have Walbro E85 drop in pump, stock lines to the fire wall, All -6 steel braided lines with Aeromotive fuel rails and FIC 2150 top feeds, AEM FPR. We also set-up the car into a hybrid MAF/SD system to see if it can alleviate the roughness issues but in my opinion it seemed to make the car worse. I drove it home on one of the low PSI maps and could barley keep it running so I had to grab a different map from my tuner that we used before today in order to keep to car drivable. Problems, problems, problems story of my life. I don't have any graphs of the dyno session today but it more or less felt like a waste of time and money. Maybe I'm just tired from the day in general /rant! |

Have you checked the injectors, moved them around to see if the problem follows?
Do you have accurate data on the injectors? Although it seems most problems with imbalanced/ mismatched injectors happens at lower pulse widths around idle or cruising speeds. |

Also the injectors are brand new and they did come with a flow chart matched to my injectors everything was pretty spot on. I cannot recall the numbers off the top of my head I've also yet to see any issues from other members with FIC I've ran there injectors for a few years now with zero issues. |

We are looking into the MAF stuff right now I'm chalking this up to some type of software issue. I did some more driving around yesterday before work I do not get any type of misfire issue while under 2k no matter the gear. Once about the 2k mark in RPM it will begin to missfire on cylinder 1. It tappers off when in 5th and is almost non existent in 6th. I'm wondering if this has something to do with the Speed Density taking over the MAF or what. Currently awaiting a response from my tuner for more guidance. With that being said though I'm pretty confident it is nothing mechanical. No blockage anywhere in my fuel system we have already looked though that the pump is doing it's job if I pinch off the return line pressure sky rockets to 100psi like it's supposed to. I'm simply not giving enough fuel to my 2150's I wondered from the get go if this pump was not enough and I'm finding it out now O well. I'm leaving for a school in a couple weeks so my motivation to complete the car right now is dwindling away since it will be winter when I get home again. O well more info to follow later! |

Did you do the re-wire of the Walbro with 10 or 12 gauge wire, bigger relay etc...? |
