Yeah but with it costing that much should I just swap to a ej20?

Or the 25, if you're swapping get the extra volume while you're at it. But then if you want to stay with the supercharger, you'll need something to push the CFM either of those will take and need.

ej20s swap in easy but total cost when your all said and done is usually way more. You have to change up the engine, harness, exhaust, add an fmic or make your scoop functional. The wiring alone if you don;t know what you are doing can break your project or cost a lot paying sombody else.
SC setup requires nothing but the SC, injectors, pump, intercooler if you want it, and a piggback fuel controlling computer to works with the larger injectors. If you do an M62 you probubly don't even really need to tun it so long as you say below 5psi the stock maf and fuel system can pretty much handle if on their own. My GF has a 2000 GC8 that I am going to test that on someday. Id like to do a M62 kit, an M90 kit and the lego that currently in my shop is getting the M110 so hopfully by the spring of next year I'll have a pretty good understanding on what works and what dosen't with Superchargers... |

Spooky for sure . Looks mean.
The front camber looks a bit much for racing. Will that change for track days? |

Hey all. Small update... Pushed her into the shop on Sunday and started tearing into her to get ready for the motor. From how it was compltly assembled to front end removed and engine ready to pull took me 15mins and I didn't even have to raise it up. I'm super stoked how easy it is to work on and the only difference between how it was and what it will be when its finished is a couple wiring pigtails. Engine is out and but I still need to split the longblock so I can get the heads off to rebuild and port them a little bit. I have a pile of parts I need to finish weld and start putting them into their powdercoating color piles. I hope to send those off in a week or so.

Ok, I looked through the thread, and did a search, didn't find my answer.
What intake manifold is that? Do you have pics of it not on the Foz to see the underside? Curious, that intake manifold/intercooler/turbo setup is awesome. like you said, look at how short the intercooler piping is. |

Its some crappy tomei replica ITB manifold I got for a really good prive to try out. I think they are on there for like $400-$500. It look great when I got it and I put it on my Legacy initially to try it out but the butterfly plates were not very good and they let to much air pas through when the throttle was close which resulted in a high idle. So I got a flange made to fit an STi Throttle body and removed the ITB assy. The manifold itself is very nice, Super high flow, nice design, and perfect for my V-mount setup.
Here are some pics I took when I put it in my Lego. |

Very nice, I really love the stance.
Not generally a fan of Forrester, they sit way too high. |

Thank you, never seen anything like it. The Tomei is $4739, The OBX is on Ebay for $569 shipped. It's not for every application, but it sure works out for yours. Keep up the good work, both on that awesome vehicle, and your updates to let us see what a very innovative person can do with our vehicles.

Wicked Build! Wondering if you could help me with a question about the replica manifold, specifically the distance from the lowest point on the center of the manifold (without the intake flange) to the coolant crossover tube.
Thanks. |

Hey bad wagon,
Just wondering what is the cheapest EJ engine with a turbo I could throw in my 1999 FOZ? Should I get it off eBay or somewhere different? Thanks dude |
