I really like it on the Evo, with and without a wing. Just for Subies for some reason it needs wing.

Subies with wing

Evo with wing

Wingless Evo

Subie wingless

I always liked this interpretation of the vortex generator integrated into the 06-07 STi mid window wing. (I still want one of those)

"Operation: Back-up Driver" is coming along well. I just ordered all new shifter linkage bushings. It's got about 4" of free-play in the shifter when it's in gear!

I have just about everything else for it ready to go in (seats, lowering springs, wheels, additional lighting, etc.) just waiting on a space to work on it.

Once that's 100% road worthy and reliable, I'll be able to put the 91 Legacy SS down for repairs and upgrades.

I've done one before on my 2.5RS, it's a pain, but this one is beyond gone. It's gotta get done, and upgraded at the same time.

Has anyone had issues with relays going bad?

My SubiMods Supertones wiring harness with their relay decided to go ape**** on me while on base, and essentially lay on the horn until I realized that it was my car that was making the noise and yank out the relay.

This brings up a couple questions that I have about the relay:
1. Are they sensitive to cold temps (Horns only seemed to work when the engine put off heat)
2. When I replace the relay, should I wrap in in a plastic bag or something to protect it from the elements?
3. Where should I move the relay to? I've got it tucked behind the crash bar at the moment (as per the SubiMods install guide).

1. 2nd winter in fairbanks, no issues.
2. Again, I have no FAIL issues with my HELLA horns.

I've got my horn relay next to the battery. Maybe you got some moisture or something making a connection on the contacts. You can't rule out that the relay may have just gone bad. Electrical parts are pretty sensitive to dust, temperature, moisture, vibrations, etc... and we deal with all of them.

Hella makes a weather tight relay and plug for their common one. If you replace it due to moisture or contaminants, this would be a good option.
