Default Wheel choice for 05 STi, what do you think?

What do you think about this setup?

I have a Blue 2005 STi. I want to buy 18 x 8.5 5Zigen FNO1-rc in silver. Lower it with STi JDM Pink lowering springs. Chargespeed v1 kit. What are your opinions?

Does anybody have pics with the silver 5Zigen FNO1-rc wheels on a Blue WRX or STI?

Im trying to convince my wife on these wheels, so help me!

Make sure you get 5x114.3 since they changed the bolt pattern on the 05STI.

Yeah I know , I wouldn't have to be looking for wheels since I had just bought some for my 02 WRX. I didn't realize when I purchased the 05 that they changed the bolt pattern for whatever reason . The wheels I had would've fit over the Brembos too!!! So now the search begins, yet again!!!!!

the prodrives look Hot!!

I don't want to steal your thread but just have a quick question regarding STI's. Are the fenders larger on the STi compared to the wrx? I thought they were the same. The reason I ask is because a lot of guys are buying rims a lot wider for the sti, ie 8.5".

I think they are a little bit wider, but Im not 100% positive. The 05 STi comes with 17x8 wheels.

I know the 05 STi comes with 5x114.3 bolt pattern too but I didn't realize the wheels are 17x8. Are they still a BBS wheel?

Yeah... basically the exact same wheel except it's .5" wider and it has "STi" stamped on the lip twice. Still made by BBS.
