You need to have that map unlocked. Much care should be taken when changing that map especially at low RPM. Contact Phil if you wish to make changes in that map.

Maybe it's a software glitch. I'm able to rotate it in 2.14v11--wish it helped me tune it ;-)

I am unable to rotate PWM 9 or 11 in version 2.17r6... picking "View" and "Angle" from the menu does nothing. Other maps, like the base fuel and timing maps, rotate without a problem.

The Hydra software not exactly the best. Many common features (e.g. multiply, add, copy/paste) are just not there.

The Hydra software is the best ever! You guys just don't know what to do with it

Seriously I have used them all and by far the most practical and functional software available. Simple pull down menus that are in a logical order. Just enough graphical interface but not too much. It's suprisingly similar to Motec.

Don't get me wrong improvements can and will be made over time.

Hmmmm I keep wondering how similar the hardware is to Motec. From what I've seen of the Motec software, Hydra's is better!!

Anything is possible if the customers are willing to pay more. I’m really hard on Hydra EMS to maintain the price point we are currently at. Also you must keep in mind that companies have to decide where to spend their development resources. For Hydra EMS it’s not a priority to add some of these items you seek but instead to develop new plug and play drive by wire applications, CAN interfacing software, USB conversions, fully closed loop AVCS, VVTI, and MIVAC software. What other stand-alone have those features in a plug in application? None of them do.

This is where the resources are going so you understand that development continues just not always on the things that offer a little convenience to the end user. For many of you there wouldn’t even have be a stand-alone EMS to offer suggestions for. For the record going to the Hydra EMS forums and offering up suggestions helps the most as it’s put in front of the engineer’s eyes. They don’t visit Nasioc and unfortunately I don’t really have time to visit those forums either. I had customers get what they wanted where I had little success.

Thanks,
Phil
