Question questions on longblock for sale?

I was just wondering if this long block is a good deal for the money or is it overpriced? It seems pretty decent to me since its seems pretty well built but i want some opinions. For that much money i could do a lot of other mods or engine swaps for my car I have considered going in a lot of different directions as far as building my car and i am just doing research now so any input would be appreciated. http://www.slowboyracing.com/estore/...at=1606&page=1

I'm in the same situation, but I don't have 16K. I'm hoping to get an EJ-22T and do a stroker rebuild. I only need a semi-closed deck, but I don't know if I can find an EJ-257.
I'm having a hard time digesting all the great information on this forum. This site is amazing!

Very nice motor. I would never spend $16k on it though. It's not that nice imo.

I have two ---

They are not cheap, I paid a lot for both... but they are awesome platforms to start from.

Most of our STI motor builds (complete longblocks) run $7,500-$9,500.00 - depending on the parts you choose to build them with.

I do have a simple build sitting in my showroom up for bid, my buddy cannot afford to pick it up - STI shortblock, WRX heads - ready to drop in... he needs about 6k for it... if any interest, drop me a PM for the build specs.
