Cool FS: MRT 3" Turbo-Back Exhaust

SOLD! - Stop harassing me.

I've got a single tip, 3", MRT Turbo-Back exhaust for sale. I'm going to be getting the Vishnu Stage 1 kit and would like to get rid of this exhaust -- for no other reason then to get the refined tuning and parts matching of the Stage 1. Make me a reasonable offer. It's still on the car so I don't really have any pics aside from a back view at a bad angle. With a quick check I found this new for $1200. Someone probably has it cheaper. . .

My Car (before my new rims and suspension ):

From the MRT site:

I'm posting here because I don't want to have to worry about shipping. Hopefully someone in norcal will want it.

Niiiiice.

So...this only has a single cat in the downpipe? If yes...what are you using to avoid CEL's ?

Actually, I believe this has the downpipe and the center pipe high flow cats (see pic). I just look at the CEL. It reminds me how much money I spend on my car. Actually, I've heard MRT will send you a fix for free if you contact them. I've just been too lazy.

MRT web site says "center pipe with muffler" so I guess that answers my question.

They also claim it will pass emissions in CA. They must be high...

You said you have a CEL...do you also have a catless uppipe?

EDIT:

I already checked out how far "Atwater" is...and yes I still do want it... ARGH!

No wonder it's so quiet. This was my first mod and it immediately granted me with a Cat Inefficiency CEL. Yes, I do have a catless up-pipe now, but it made no difference in the frequency of the CEL. I am currently working in Sacramento during the week if that's any closer than Atwater. I'll be around Sac until at least December.

PM me you post whore.

The above picture shows the system with the center pipe with resonator.

MRT do make a catted center section but this is a fairly new addition to the range and would have also added a premium to your purchase price.

Being an authorsed MRT dealer we would be more than happy to help the eventual purchaser (or the current owner) with the CEL issue.

Not to hijack your thread, but I didn't get the CEL with my MRT twin-tip turbo back. I'm not running an uppipe, I do have the silencer removed, a K&N panel filter, and a Zero Sports intake pipe.

Mike - Is is too late, or do you think I can still order one from MRT.

That would depend on which version you require?

The occasional CEL is cheaper than the permanent CEL

Sorry couldn't resist

I purchased the newest MRT uppipe, and turbo back setup from MPJ. Its been over 1500 miles no CEL lights.

An as of right now, I am running a Bozz Speed dual N1 mufflers in place of MRT muffler. Its wicked loud! lol

CEL for the catless or same code are really not a problem if you know who to call and get the fix. It is cheaper than it seems. Pony Express and or MPJperformance can help.

FYI FWIW...

Our exhausts actually have four pipes. (Don't bother arguing with me. Not only have I been under my car but I have the factory manuals :P )

The downpipe actually consists of two sections, each with a cat.
The "midpipe" (atleast that's what I think people are referring to) is the resonator.
Lastly you have the section with the muffler.

It seems to me that the MRT exhaust combines the two frontmost pipes into one pipe with the racing cat nearer to the turbo outlet.

Well, that pic exactly represents the product that I have for sale. So I guess I got the one with the resonator. I got it a while back -- about 6 months ago.

You should have seen the look on the lady's face in the DMV when I went and picked it up. As she fills out the paperwork she just blurts, "I'm not even going to ask," and giggles. She was pretty hot too. Maybe I should go back.
